I thought this board was non-subjective. Will someone please explain to me how any of the transactions that occurred after hours on the 17th represent a purchase of MNKD shares by an insider and thus shows financial or otherwise any commitment on behalf of said insiders in the companies' future? There are no purchases here. All that's going on is the giving of each other free or almost free shares and the selling of some to cover taxes. A pot of gold created by believer's in the company and which might disappear at any moment was put on the board of director's table and everyone is filling their pockets. No one here has bought anything.

Cord, I'm not sure what you mean by non subjective. This board would be pretty sparse, limited to regurgitating facts and posting links to articles if it were completely objective.
With respect to the sales, Maybe you can understand the optimistic perspective if you consider that the recipients of the shares could have sold them all for a massive pay day if they had no or little hope for MannKind's prospects. The fact that they chose to keep a high percentage bodes well (in the subjective opinion of some) because some interpret the voluntary retention of so many shares (free or not) as a big vote of confidence by those in a position to know best.
Do you see it differently?

Good reply Savzak. I believe that quite a few of us deserve some sort of bonus for being such ardent supporters of MNKD. It has been very difficult staying positive for so long. I just hope I don't get something like a section 8 in the mail. I think Babaoriley already received a section 8, because of his fear of shorts. I assure you that If I get a form 4, I will sell the entire bonus. Greed kills. BTW, because things were going so bad this week, I spent a lot of time hiding under the bed in denial. it was nice to get some fresh air on Friday.
Spiro here. We don't have a partner, until we get a partner.

We'll everyone I am back. Have been hiking Bryce and Zion canyon in Utah. Had a blast and an even better time since I did not have to worry about FDA approval. My husband would have killed me if I was reading all of the message boards on vacation. Anyway, in regards to the subjectivity of this board. That's what it love about it. If we just read articles all day long it would be boring. We get to her from people that have valuable opinions. Everyone here brings a wealth of information to the board, well almost everyone, and I love reading everyones opinion. People read different articles and share what they read or their opinion on what they read and that is valuable. If I want to just read articles, I can read Bloomberg or The Wall Street Journal ect. I like to get a jist of what everyone is thinking on a given day. Don't get me wrong I love the articles too but real authentic opinions are more important to me that just articles. So everyone please continue with the well thought out subjective opinions. I love it. Coco. P.S. I feel the longer mnkd takes to negotiate, the better price we will get whether it is partnership or buyout. We have overcome the hardest part. We have approval. Let's all just sit back and relax. I come from a place of peace and love. I hope no one ever takes what I say the wrong way. Have a great weekend. Coco

Thank goodness you've surfaced, Spiro. There was a nasty, but believable rumor via various pm's that you had been banished to Siberia on Thursday; luckily, your flight stopped in Berlin on Friday, and you were apparently allowed to come back to the USA, but not back into your home just yet. That was a close call, though. We're happy that your Motel 6 has internet access, a nice touch. I also hear they serve a nice continental breakfast on Sunday mornings, so please enjoy!
Coco, had you been reading while hiking in those places, we might have lost you! And if you had been following the stock price on Tuesday - Thursday, you might have jumped.

A quote from Dr. tran's latest article. "...That being said, I was stoked as I was combing through the 4-Ks and saw that Dr. Juergen did not sell a single share in his $1.2 million shares purchased. Hence, these facts support investor's sentiments that Mannkind could finalize either a buyout or partnership deals any time going forward, now that insiders already built shares. As elucidated in my previous article, Mannkind shareholders are expecting major candidates, including Elli Lilly, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, or Johnson and Johnson..." www.retailinvestor360.com/biotech/417-recent-tsunami-of-insider-shares-purchased-a-prelude-to-mannkind-partnership-or-acquisition.html

Babaoriley, you are good. How did you know that over 15,000 of my MNKD shares were purchased using the money i saved by staying at Motel 6's in the past? i have also purchased another 10,000 shares using the money earned from wiping car windows at my favorite corner in Miami.
