Mannkind used to have on-line advertising and show up in searches. It may have fallen by the wayside. I don't see a lot of drug advertising on-line (but I tend to ignore every ad on-line). There does seem to be a lot of drug advertising on Hallmark and GSN where Mannkind has been advertising too. I wouldn't compare advertising to rocket science, but I do know there is a lot of science that goes into advertising and marketing. In fact so much so it's creepy and part of the reason why the European's at least recently developed stronger laws on privacy. I've not seen a single advertisement for afrezza anywhere -- TV or internet. Google ultrafast insulin and see what you get. Look at the 5 year google trends data -- trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&geo=US&q=afrezza They need to do better. For comparison sake (afrezza, novolog, humalog), it's not pretty. For comparison sake (afrezza, novolog, humalog), it's not pretty. Google TrendsTo me this is like comparing Tesla to Ford and heckling Tesla for not advertising as much.

Got texted another Afrezza commercial screenshot on Hallmark Channel last night around 10:30pm from my oldest daughter who lives in the Kansas City area. I am hopeful we'll get a review of Afrezza marketing efforts in the quarterly earnings report tomorrow.

Random, new, suggested tag line:
"Move the needle! Inhale Afrezza."
I also continue to like this suggestion for corporate:
"Inspired medicine! From MannKind."
(You can tell I'm a simple guy...)

668 as of November 11th 3:30 PM JST. www.ispot.tv/ad/dnNL/afrezza-mealtime#fullMetrics+69 since the 2nd. Has the long awaited blitz begun? 675 as of 11/12/18 at 8:25 JST. 687 as of 11/12/18 21:20 JST. Nearly 20 commericals shown in a little over a 24 hour period. I will take it. 695 - 11/13 6:13 JST 701 11/13 22:10 JST 710 11/14 13:55 JST 719 11/15 9:43 JST 728 11/16 6:24 JST 738 11/16 15:13 JST 748 11/17 14:27 JST 762 11/19 6:16 JST 775 11/19 21:55 JST 779 11/20 11:47 JST 791 11/21 9:19 JST 801 11/22 7:50 JST I expect a sizeable push over TG weekend. Another 100 plus over the next 5 nights. 813 11/23 13:09 JST 824 11/24 15:37 JST 837 11/25 15:09 JST 849 11/26 18:47 JST 859 11/27 13:27 JST 878 11/28 8:08 JST 886 11/28 16:38 JST 903 11/29 6:41 JST 927 11/30 6:53 JST 951 12/1 8:05 JST 967 12/2 20:42 JST 977 12/3 21:23 JST 977 12/5 6:49 JST And like that, commercials were stopped. Strange. 977 12/6 11:07 JST 977 12/7 00:53 JST 977 12/11 14:50 JST 977 12/13 22:06 JST 977 12/16 13:00 JST And like that, the airings intensified. 998 1/15 6:50 1022 1/16 7:10 1035 1/16 3:48 1059 1/17 8:00 1100 1/18 6:53 1142 1/19 1:23 1174 1/20 6:02 1224 1/21 7:15 1270 1/22 11:47 1299 1/23 7:07 1339 1/24 6:43 1381 1/25 9:48 1413 1/26 7:18 1479 1/27 3:21 1516 1/28 6:42 1558 1/29 6:55 1613 1/30 6:55 1662 1/31 6:43 1706 2/1 8:25 1777 2/2 3:37 1814 2/3 8:17 If what SO says is true, a cm to air costs $2000 per airing. They have ran 800+ in a little over 2 weeks. $1.6m in that time. I gotta believe that Mike is telling the truth with Afrezza being commerically responsive. Couple this with increased insurance coverage, furthermore 1000 patients paying cash, and freaking Brzail and India waiting in the wings. Other compounds to be annou ced and money to be made. All this potential for $1.30 a share. Wow. 1876 2/4 7:27 1915 2/5 6:58 1966 2/6 8:16 2004 2/7 7:33 2102 2/9 1:19 2150 2/10 10:50 2189 2/11 8:48 Could ad campaign be wrapping up. 2198 2/12 8:17 And thats a wrap. 2198 2/13 12:46 Here we go. 2/18 2220 6:39 2/19 2262 7:31 2/20 2299 7:13 2/22 2342 9:27 2/23 2384 8:25 2/24 2426 9:09 FBM 765 2/25 11:21 2478 FBM 766 2/26 8:29 2498 FBM 767 2/27 8:48 2531 FBM 776 2/28 7:44 2564 FBM 788 3/1 7:08 2597 FBM 793 3/2 No time 3/3 8:43 2687 FBM 800 3/4 6:36 2732 805

I thought I wanted an advertising blitz more than anything!
Then I heard Mike C on the Q3 earnings call. He told us about reallocating capital. He said he had reallocated some money in Q3 from Afrezza DTC to moving forward with the Unither project(s). Although he said he turned ads back on since then, he also stated that he would continue to reallocate capital to projects that get the most bang for the buck whether they be for Afrezza or for Technosphere.
Mike is doing a balancing act with A) Afrezza in one hand and B) Technosphere platform in the other:
A) Afrezza. Dr Kendall is working on SOC, and the pediatric study is progressing. When these pop – kaboom! However, my guess is that it’s going to be (gulp) a year or two. There is some amount of Afrezza advertising which is continuing. So, cash is being spent on Afrezza, i.e., Afrezza is not being ignored.
B) Technosphere. Unither projects and other Technosphere opportunities require some cash immediately. Mike is making damn sure we get those milestone payments from Unither. He also sees some other opportunities which might need cash right now but will produce significant cash in a timeframe of quarters not years.
Bottom line is I don’t expect an advertising blitz in the near future. Mike is executing a smarter plan.

Watching BBC in Pasco WA at 9:45 am. Within a half an hour saw a commercial for Afrezza and Vascepa (AMRN).
