Yeah I heard from a little birdie that Mike’s not at all worried about the warrants, in fact I don’t think Mike is worried at all :-) I would hope not. Why would Mike have any reason to be worried in the first place? Mannkind sold the warrants and / or used the warrants as a sweetener to sell shares (I forget if it was one or the other or a combination of both). They did their job. If Mannkind sells more shares down the road by having the warrants exercised, great. If not, it can always sell shares later in a separate offering. Either way, I see no reason why Mike would have any cause to worry. Retail shareholders, well, they may (or may not) have a different point of view than Mike. It probably depends who you ask, and what their short term expectations are. Agree, it was most likely that they weren’t worried about needing the money from the warrants.

Nates recent comment about anticipating the next six weeks of script measurements following the recent ad spend was reassuring. I am no longer worried about funding and am fairly confident in the companies success with minimal dilution. However I am steeling myself to another 8 months of not much news and sideways price movement. Brazil won't do much to move the needle and barring an unforeseen partnership or new compound announcement, the only meaningful pending news item is afrezza sales. Let's be honest, the lack of "hockey stick" growth in sales is the only reason SO is able to continue writing the pieces he does. The longer sales move sideways the more bold he becomes because the narrative isn't changing.

For anyone confused by the early part of this thread, the only facts posted are the $2.xx Warrant exercise price(and the # of warrants). Most of the other things in regards to hedges, etc. are (intentionally biased, imo) supposition. Next...

There is informed supposition, and selling Calls against warrants (speaking as someone who does exactly that) is pretty much standard procedure as it is free money. However you are perfectly correct, nobody knows if their suppositions are correct either way.

In general, those investors funding pipe like the one back in April are risk averse and will take free money over risk based money. There are plenty of strategies that a warrant holder can take that will generate risk free money versus investing in a company.
