It is hard to believe that a year has already passed, but it is that time of year again. Nominations are open for the APPA Pharmaceutical Industry Awards: joinappa.com/awardsMike can't repeat as CEO of the year unless enough people nominate him in the first place. And only a few days left in which to do it! "The top 3 companies or individuals with the most nominations will make it to the polls for public voting. Nominations will close 12/31/18. Live voting will be open the second week of January 2019 and close March 1, 2019. Winners will be announced online March 4, 2019. Awards will be handed out during our 2019 Annual Convention. (Stay tuned)."

I'm honestly surprised given the sentiment towards Mike that was in December, but it looks like people stepped up and actually nominated Mike for CEO of the year once again. joinappa.com/awardsStart voting!

Most pharmacists are pharmacists and not CEOs. The only reason Mike has votes is because shareholders in mnkd think it will help mnkd and the shareholders.
Most pharmacists don't have a national following because they are working in pharmacies and drugstores.

Well it didn't help last year, and he certainly does not get my vote this year. Show some actual results first. I'm tired of this "wait for TV ads to kick in" circle of going nowhere.

I don't know who nominated him but just that the open for business sign is still on the door and the lights still work says a lot. This guy was up against all odds and MNKD right now is IMO in the best position in four years.
I will also say this guy works 24/7. I am not sure how much longer one can do what he is doing but I am grateful he has the passion he has.

Him winning for a second time can’t hurt, can it? The more positive press we can get the better.

Who nominated him? And how many votes does he have.. I can’t see from that link. The format has been changed. Last year after we voted, the total votes and % showed. This years new and improved version saids, thanks for your vote. Heh, clean out your cache and vote often? Mike won last year.

This way they can modify the result if they think it is being fixed without it being obvious.

He got my vote. Anyone who can stop the so-called "death spiral" is deserving.

All of the candidates are CEOS who are have pharmacy degrees.

Who nominated him? And how many votes does he have.. I can’t see from that link. Anyone could nominate, IIRC those with the most nominations made it to the competition itself. So I assume many people nominated him. I do not see vote counts being displayed. The page looks different from what I remember from last year. I think the changes might have been to keep vote counts secret this time around.

He got my vote. Anyone who can stop the so-called "death spiral" is deserving. You do know dilution is part of the death spiral right? He hasn't stopped anything, he has prolonged it, but unless sales increase quickly, we are still very much in the "death spiral".
