This Friday's March 1st scripts report will cover the sixth week since the TV ads began running. Mike had said it usually takes about 6 to 8 weeks to affect scripts. IMO, the eighth week will be a better marker. In any case, I'm looking for a nice jump in scripts as the tipping point...whenever that happens.

It should be a snowball effect, not a stair step, so I am not sure there is much difference between 6 or 8 weeks.

dennis what do you mean by snowball effect vs stair step? I think i might know what you mean, but i'd expect stair step rather than snowball effect.

And if this doesn't happen in the next few weeks, what's the plan? Burn more money on more ineffective TV campaigns? Still no social media presence, revamped marketing campaign is non-existent, traction in the medical community has slowed to a standstill...

There should be some incremental effect even in week 1. As each week progresses more positive effects and as a snowball falls down the hill, it grows bigger and bigger. While it may take some weeks to get an appointment with an Endo, others have already make appointments when they see the commercial. Some facilities take less than 8 weeks to see a doctor. If new scripts are not starting to grow I would be concerned, and don't expect it to go from 0 - 60 at 6 weeks.

So maybe they’re waiting for the end of the eight weeks to see if it does take off to spend more money on all the other things?

There's no reason whatsoever to speculate today that well over 1,200 TV commercials since January 14th will not have a significant impact on forthcoming scripts, especially considering they have been running on major national stations in major markets on target programs. We'll know soon enough.

We'll know soon enough. Actually it is the opposite, TV campaigns run by MannKind so far have yet to really make an impact in script growth (we're still under 600 scripts). So what makes you think running more of the same exact commercial, with no supplemental marketing campaigns, will all of sudden spark this growth? Until they prove this to be effective, which they haven't at all, there is plenty reason to not be so optimistic.

Until they prove this to be effective, which they haven't at all, there is plenty reason to not be so optimistic. There's every reason to be optimistic. Mike has said Afrezza is very Promotional sensitive and MNKD has increased their promotions 10x. Mike also said it will take at least 6-8 weeks to see evidence of the promotions. By the time the PWD Viewer sees the TV Ad and probably by the 4th or 5th time a viewer sees it and realizes the significance it will take another 4-5 weeks to schedule an appt with their ENDO and maybe sooner with their PCP. Add in time for the PA and Appeal process we're talking 6-8 Weeks. We are in Week #4/5 so we have to be patient. Now Mike could hint as to the TREND since the TV Ads started so let's wait until tomorrow.

Once again, this isn't the first TV campaign to be run, and the results in script growth from before were not impressive regardless of the award or whatever Mike claims. You guys were all saying the exact same thing before, "just give it time!"
