For to long Mnkd has been thinking inside the box and thus far it has been a resounding failure. The commercials and advertisements have been completely ineffective to date. We can't advertise like big established pharmaceutical companies and expect to be competitive. Were small and should be able to turn on a dime when we see something is not working. We all know that afrezza works and works better than most every other insulin when used correctly. The point of the commercials should have always been no needles, highlighting that simple fact. The stupid ad Mnkd uses is lame, I don't care if it won some stupid ass awards it is not good simple as that. I can think of a million better ways to reach the consumer. How about a simple shot of two people one injecting and one inhaling insulin with the words which would you rather do? Come on a commercial has a limited time to grab your attention do something else I don't care how much it costs just do a different commercial and don't let the ad agency keep you from doing the type of commercial you want. Partner up with VDEX in a big way people need to know how to titrate correctly right away and if they don't they will quit taking afrezza. Magazine ads need to be exploited to better effect and more hard hitting keep it simple stupid should be our manifesto, again highlighting the fact of no needles and better control. What I'm trying to say there are a million things we could be doing better and we need to start now. You sound like a frustrated dude who made a bad decision in buying MNKD Stock. OWN IT...... You have ALL THE ANSWERS!!!! Why don't you become a CEO of a Pharmaceutical company and see how easy it is. Casper06, I don't believe that fldave007 has all of the answers, but I have to admit that I like the ones that he have. If you have been in this stock for some time, you should understand that there are some frustrated investors. I am getting sick and tired of people who bought in at these young prices and feel that everyone is on a Yellow Brick Road and should be living in LALA Land. Wake up to reality pal, people have a right to express their dismay and better ideas that we have seen from people holding our hard earned money hostage.

Rumors or assumptions about capital aside, there’s a lot to learn from Vdex because they have the retention, the correct dosing. They approach Afrezza the way Al did. There is no one I trust more..if I had a close friend that was a diabetic I would drive them to the nearest clinic. I certainly wouldn’t send them off to try and talk their Endo into it. That could take months and a lot of frustration. Well that was insensitive. I didn’t mean it to be, there aren’t enough clinics so you have to go to your Endo and I salute Rick for all the hard work he did getting his friend a script! That's all well and good but VDEX is not a pharmaceutical company. They don't have the same restrictions as MNKD. Their business model will not work at MNKD. Mike has laid out the road map and has set expectations. Everyone wants the stock price higher yesterday. Well it doesn't work that way. There's a lot of groundwork going on behind the scenes and it will take time to rollout. Yes correct they’re not a pharmaceutical company, that’s the beauty of it, they can say what they want to. And as far as fldave goes. He just sounds like he cares to me.

I agree on the urgent need for more creative and memorable messaging. Make the ads simple, direct and keyed to the distinguishing features of Afrezza. My contribution, years ago, was "The Inspired Insulin," simply showing people inhaling happily (and slowly!) in different public settings. I even trademarked the phrase to protect it for MannKind's use and also met personally with the head of their ad agency in Boston but no one was interested... Someone else has suggested "The Pocket Pancreas." Perfect! You know from a regulatory standpoint, they could not say the pocket pancreas.

Definitely, I had a similar post several months ago highlighting the lame commercial that won awards. My guess is the competition wanted Mannkind to keep going with the lame commercial so they stuffed the ballot box...Ha Ha!!!
