The best interviews are more like a conversation where it isn't just a bulleted points list that the interviewer systematically goes through. I thought these two played well off each other, it was good to see Kendall's demeanor in a perhaps, less formal environment. He was very receptive to her story and experiences and did well to build off of that with his own experiences. He also smiled a lot and seemed genuine in his passion for diabetes treatment and MannKind.

My comment was not directed at you. I couldn't care less whether or not you listen to it again. You seem to be bothered by the fact that she did a lot of the talking. Maybe it wasn't a traditional TV style interview. It was a conversation and both people shared their views and experiences. You addressed me by saying, "Johny", next time keep my name out of your response and I won't think your addressing me. Have you ever tried this in person? Saying someone's name and thinking you wouldn't be held accountable for what is said.. Yeah that's a life lesson waiting to happen, and trying to hide your face through your hand ain't gunna make it go away. Hey Uvula, I appreciate your time, have a nice day. Johny, Now I am addressing you. Previously I was not. I began my response with "Totally disagree with Johny.". You seem to like misinterpreting stuff just like you did with the Kendal video. I apologize to the group for my part in derailing this thread.

Awesomo.... You are so right, that is exactly why it was so hard for me to explain to my friends when they asked me or asked me just to give them the bullet points. I’m like no, you have to watch it, I can’t explain what’s so good about it, it’s hard to put into words. You did it very well!

Totally disagree with Johny. It was a wonderful conversation/interview. Many positive things. The only thing I don't completely agree with is at 10:24 "Personal experience is in this case worth so much more than endless clinical research trials." I don't think a CMO should say this. I don't think he would have said this if he still worked for a large company that could afford to do clinical trials. Everything else is great. If you're feeling discouraged with mnkd it is worth listening to the whole thing. That was my thought precisely. Management has done a lot of talking about veins of gold, no need for more real trials, personal experience worth more, etc., but they are smart enough to know the medical community looks for dispositive trials. Or at least they hopefully are smart enough to know that. An example where I think they are not being totally forthright with shareholders. Personal experience may be enough to make some progress, but it will be a slow grind to gain acceptance. Can you imagine what might come about if MNKD could afford to do a trial on early intervention with Afrezza. What if they could show a 4 unit (or maybe 2) puff with one's big meals was enough to slow down or perhaps halt progression at the very early stages and do it without significant risk of hypos. We're not going to get personal experience on that because doctors aren't going to give patients prescriptions. We need trials to really bring Afrezza to its potential.

Thanks for posting Sport; a well spent half-hour +. Never forget, Afrezza was not properly introduced to the prescribing community. Every time I hear about a physician not being familiar with Afrezza, I shake my head being reminded of the botched launched. It was/is MNKD's responsibility to educate providers, not patients. Want to change the NRx curve? Educate providers with compelling data. (Pharma blocking and tackling.)

What Dr. Kendall said about "personal experience" is true. I'm sure everyone here has read tons of information, saw ads, and heard others talk about something ... But, when you try it yourself ... then it's an eye opening experience. Just remember that you could have had a V8.
But, that's mytakeonit
