I have been following feedback from the ASM on StockTwits. A post really stood out to me. I think this is very important. It appears to me that management may have found the answer to sales. Read below:
ddiction2moneyMay 14th, 7:40 am $MNKD sales rep from ny, Elizabeth a role model for Mnkd. She was a diabetes educator and joined Company because of Afrezza. She has been very reliable to docs and gain confidence on all aspects. She has enthusiasm because Afrezza gives patients quality of life.
From the post above, sales will grow steadily with sales reps that are dedicated to the doctor offices. Well you might say duh. I think this is a different model than the general view of sales reps. This isn’t a quick sales pitch and dump some samples off. This approach appears to be that a sales rep is almost an extension of the doctor’s staff. Therefore it will take very talented sales reps to pull this off. So sales staff may be smaller but if they are the right type of personality then they will have a big impact. So take the most talented sales staff and imbed them in the most productive markets. Management needs to focus now only on productive markets and not the whole country. By the way, this approach will take time. But it also allows the company to stay lean while it grows the patient and doctor base. Just my thinking at the moment.

Thousand Oaks/agoura hills is expensive. It's where all the movie stars go to raise their families. 500k gets you a condo and a Costco card. I think they are overpaid however, this idea of an overthrow of Mannkind's future plans by the shareholders would be completely disruptive. It would crush the share price. It would kill morale at the company as a whole. Envisioning a new game plan by Mannkind is time consuming and expensive. But it's not like we are really ripping along. 500k gets you a condo and a Costco card? You can get an apartment in WestLake for between $2000 and $3000, and then just use your Apple Pay🙄

I’ll bet this was the lowest attended share meeting ever. Doesn't seem like people are missing much unfortunately.

Why buy shares when you are gifted shares and your compensation goes up regardless of performance?

For all you people out saying a drug cannot be put on the Indy Car, yes it can. So why did management decide to put Mannkind Diabetes instead of Afrezza???

Mannkind in big bold letters and under that the makers of Afrezza. I don't get it either. Right now, there are no other products. www.nhl.com/kings/video/mannkind-corporation-puck-drop/t-277437410/c-63767603

Weee, drop the puck at an NHL game!

"Lots of critical questions asked , they were mostly skirted , while they continue to review strategic options it doesn’t sound like afrezza is ever going to take a back seat" - Avrage @ StockTwits
