According to the article: "Unlike injectable insulin, until then the only version available in Brazil, Afrezza does not require refrigeration, which facilitates transport and storage, . . ." (bold emphasis is mine)

Translation suggests it is still a case of hurry up and wait. "According to Biomm, the company responsible for manufacturing and distributing the product in Brazil, inhaled insulin should be available for purchase from the fourth quarter of the year, depending on the price registration process by the Drug Market Regulation Chamber (CMED)." As of today, Afrezza is not on the official price list. CMED updates the price list, normally on the first of the month, and it was not listed as of September 2. As I understand the regulations, that does not prevent Biomm from placing a stocking order with MNKD, but it does prevent Biomm from selling any product to pharmacies or the government since the CMED approved price list is a de factor price limit on all sales in Brazil. We should see the next price list in about ten days. Biomm might already know the answer on the pricing decision, but the monthly price list is the only public information I could find and, importantly, it is what the pharmacies have to use to price the product to the final consumer.

Within 2 weeks that container of Afrezza should be in Brazil. Not sure how distribution will be handled, but I'm sure they are just as excited as I am.
But, that's mytakeonit

Where is everyone who posts on every subject and every day? Cliff notes version for you... "Castagna is a genius CEO who we should all be thankful for saving us from utter doom." "Castagna is an arrogant, self-serving CEO who is gutting shareholders for personal gain." "OMG please release some news on Brazil, partnerships, or what Rose ate for breakfast!" "OMG HFM go away!" "Scripts are bad and growth is stagnant." "Castagna is doing the best he could possibly do, it's all big pharma and the FDA's fault!" "Just wait until the earnings call when the big master plan will be revealed." "No it won't." "But, that's mytakeonit."

I have been in wait and see and patient for so many years.I read the posts everyday to get the just of how share holders thoughts. When there is no activity on the board, I start to worry that most lost interest and moved on and gave up.

I doubt they’ve given up. If they are like me they just got tired of the same ole same ole with management and posters in support of it.

Where is everyone who posts on every subject and every day? I think the majority of us longs have reached a plateau with our optimism or lack of. The facts, figures, and hypotheses have been hashed and rehashed. Many have put time into this board like there employed by the company for no compensation. I must say I’m thankful for those that contribute honest opinions and factual information. It’s nice to hear pro board members and other investors thoughts. I would assume the feelings are mutual that the next 2 quarters are critical times for the future of Mannkind. I like many, search and hope for additional positive information indicative of growth and success. I still believe in a positive outcome but the time table of profitability is a whole different story. Are we beating a dead horse ? I don’t think so. Are we holding shares of a company that will continue to bait the hook just enough for us to stick around, and be further diluted ? - I’m cautious on this one. If I was a new investor contemplating a stock purchase, I simply wouldn’t at this time. But being long over many years I’m here and staying for now. The warrants definitely complicate this quarters stock price potential. Flat scripts and leadership controversy have also affected ones enthusiasm. I still like our odds, and feel many pieces can finally come together over the next 6 months. So like many, we quietly hold and wait, hoping for the best outcome. This is still the best drug currently available on the market for many diabetics. However, significant script growth, additional pipeline drug developments, and no further dilution will be required to finally get the blood sucking leeches off our backs ( shorts). Only then will the tide finally change and this board will light up again.

I would mention that I expect a multitude of partnerships in the coming years with just as many buyout offers.
