MNKD got $5.9M for something they needed to use it for. I've read balance sheet requirements, payment to DFLD on $50M Afrezza sales milestones or some other need. CVI get's what they want, MNKD got what they felt they needed. IMHO One side acted in desperation (Castagna), the other side took full advantage. Some times desperate people do desperate things in order to survive, but they survive and THAT is what matters in the END. Nothing else to see here.

Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill...this entire thread passionately arguing over something very minor where no one knows the background story about an event that will have little affect on this company moving forward. POST OF THE YEAR!!! The doomsday crew is working hard and THEY know ALL the answers, have sat in his chair before and made these difficult and unpleasant decisions and have all pledged their shares. Extraordinary!

We can close our eyes to the Big picture ... but, we will still hear the shorts as they jump off the cliff.
But, that's mytakeonit

This was just to give me time to get my $$$ in my account before the pps runs away. Ha! (pps is where we were less than 2 weeks ago) This is probably also due to the Brazil revenues being delayed for a couple of months. But, that's mytakeonit LOL! Man, will you ever be bearish with this stock? I could see Mannkind filling for bankruptcy and you'd be like "great, now i can get my shares on the OTC markets for pennies on the dollar". Absolutely the highlight post of my day!!! That was funny as shit, and true inded. lol

So when do we find out if that 4.5mil shares were exercised? The volume is 3.6mil right now so does that mean it didn't get exercised?

I suspect part of the problem is that Mannkind didn't provide any "background story" to the 8-K; it just came out of nowhere.

Logic tells you they would never do it again, not right before Christmas. But I couldn’t bring myself to bet on those odds.

It’s not a doomsday crew, it’s the people that have quit wasting their money on dead money.

Some times desperate people do desperate things in order to survive, but they survive and THAT is what matters in the END. Nothing else to see here. I dont much worry about the dilution, rather 1. The timing of this. Can we expect this every xmas? If so, I will hold out buying until Midcap tells MC to give them a deal. 2. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. He said we are all good till 2020 and possibly beyond, yet. 3. Your ownership in MNKD as percentage of the float has been reduced, again. I am an opptomist to the end, a cheerleader of sorts if you will, but as your parents surely taught you, actions speak louder than words. In the case of this phrase, it works forward and backwards.

and seeing that we needed cash now, that second possible molecule buy from UTHR appears to be nowhere in sight. In other words this just telegraphed we’re not getting a payment from UTHR - at least not anytime soon - to help us with cash.

From Nadent ......@mango3 How many shares will Mannkind try to authorize and sell through Oppenheimer? Seems to me if MC and the BOD thought US Afrezza sales were going to grow quicker and there would be a material order for Affreza from Brazil and another TS deal in H1 of 2020 then the need to raise capital would not be critical at this juncture. Furthermore, Mannkind could have let all the warrants expire and if management and the BOD had any faith in their plan, SP would be well north of $1.60 allowing for additional capital raise at a better valuation. So what management and BOD are communicating is that they don't believe their Afrezza plans will bear fruit and no TS deals coming.

Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill...this entire thread passionately arguing over something very minor where no one knows the background story about an event that will have little affect on this company moving forward. Mole hill??? Been waiting for an entire YEAR for the warrants to expire. Then, 4.5 of 23 million (about 20% of the total) are allowed to be exercised at only 82% of full value. Even worse CVI's other 7.25 million (??) warrants are EXTENDED another six months. I don't call that minor or a mole hill. And then to NOT say a g*damn thing about it until finally doing so in a text? It stinks.
