true... on a simple note (since I'm not advance at all in this stuff)... maybe Al had planned to sell MNKD (Afrezza) the whole time after a quarter or two of sales. If so, why and he knew there would be multiple parties interested in 2015... who cares they settled for 35% for such a short time frame.. Just a simple thought! What do you even mean by this. 35% for as long as the product is sold hardly seems like a "short time frame". Often royalties stop after a patent expires, which is not the case here.

Al answered the question of selling the company simply and directly at the annual meeting. I do not think he was being disingenuous. He said he had no plans to sell his company; he had never even tried to market one of his companies in the past; but if, as in the past, he was presented with an good offer from an interested party he would then consider selling. The takeaway is that Al is not thinking about selling, he is thinking about making Afrezza a success, and helping diabetics as much as possible. If MannKind succeeds the stock price will take care of itself.
