I agree both speculation about future Technosphere partnerships and possible buyouts are entertaining but they don't really make much of a difference in the big picture.
There will be more Technosphere partnerships. Just not certain with who. I still don't get why Medtronic or Mannkind would want to partner other stuff then possibly Afrezza (by way of Sanofi) for insulin pumps. An insulin pump, a small electronic device interfaced with a pump to run some code (iPhone or whatever), a continuous glucose monitor and Afrezza are the 4 components of a relatively cheap 'artificial pancreas'.
If I were Mannkind I could think of many better partners for Technosphere then Medtronic. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see Medtronic partner with Mannkind. They would need to pay top $ and offer a really good deal to Mannkind just to prove they are serious about doing something very different then they have traditionally done.

MDT Diabetes in Northridge is one of my main customers. I'll be out there in a few weeks and will ask them about future partnerships and what their direction is in this area. Of course, I won't be telling them which stocks I own
