So, is it safe to assume that if distributers are delivering an FDA approved drug to their pharmacies, then those pharmacies will sell that drug to a prescribed patients? Afrezza's launch starts when pharmacies have a paid for product in hand, right? There is no question that this thing will take time. SNY reps have to detail doctors and then patients have to visit doctors and then be prescribed Afrezza. Now, we do have 5000 or so trial participants, some of whom may be successful in convincing their doctors to cal a scrip in, but most will take some time. But it sure looks to me like the launch has begun. So therefore the share price should go down on Monday, but dang it, they are not going to shake any of my shares loose. One of these days MNKD will go up on good news and stay up. I just don't know when yet.

Something is definitely in the air. Spiro has stopped talking about himself in the 3rd person. Just not sure if that's a good or bad sign.

Just to see if it is available right now and it is. As far as what one would call an official lunch, I think it is when the reps hit the street. The rest rings true, it will take time.

Would sales reps be able to give free samples to doctors for a drug like this? Might give patients a chance to get hooked.
Works for crack dealers!!!

I'm curious to know what the refrigeration requirements are. The box expires 08/2016, so do you just leave it in your cabinet? Or do you have it sit in the butter tray in your fridge?

I wouldn't find it far fetched to think that Sanofi will have a "starter" kit for docs to hand out to patients to try Afrezza. In fact, it wouldn't be that hard for the patient to try it right there in the office, go wait 15-20 mins for it to peak and have the patient actually get his glucose levels tested in the office to actually see it working so he and the doctor (or phys assistant) can discuss the merits of incorporating Afrezza into their daily routine. I would think many would leave the doc's office in a very happy mood knowing they have a new weapon in controlling their disease with ease. In fact, if I were a marketer for Sanofi my catch phrase for Afrezza would be, "Controlling your Disease with Ease. Afrezza."

I am sure Doctors will have samples to give to patients and for demestration in their office. I wonder who pays the budget for samples.
