Okay, what in the heck is our resident Mad Greek up to now? Liane, apparently your comment the other day left an indelible mark on our buddy's soul. Not sure to what he is referring, but I think he's trying to tell us something. He's gone the extra mile??? Is he smoking Camels?

You drove the man to it, Liane!! He's been in a shell since your stinging rebuke and he's fighting back the only way he knows. His new Avatar is a desperate cry for respect. He's just been through too much, he's so disoriented, he even fell off a wall recently. He hardly even cared that the stock got trashed today, and he only eats infrequently (though he still sips his ouzo). He told me he's even stopped watching reruns of Baywatch, V.I.P.'s, and his all time favorite, Miami Vice. Even Leona Bay couldn't cheer him up. His wife is becoming so disgusted with him, she threatened to go to Siberia. Spiro is currently trying to contact Afrezzauser and propose that they do a side-by-side, before and after Afrezza photo, with Spiro being the after! The man is lost, I'm telling you.
He's got a bunch of Prozac and Valium lined up for tomorrow's CC - he plans to start popping Prozac an hour before, I've got our nurses lined up on a hot-line alert, just in case. Hakan and Matt better have something good to say tomorrow afternoon, other than, "well, we did get this money in from Sanofi, but we're really not sure yet how to account for it." Or, "we think Afrezza is swell, how about you?" I'm waiting for, "next time Sanofi holds a meeting for its Afrezza reps, we'd appreciate members of ProBoards to stay the hell away," or "If you're wondering about the early Rx numbers, Matt himself has gotten 140 Rx's so far, as he keeps losing inhalers." I'm halfway expecting, "we'd like to introduce our new market consultant, Adam Feuerstein." Or Hakan to say something like, "Well, it's taken us years, but Al Mann is finally out of the way, and we can do as we please - heck, for the past ten years, Nancy Reagan's astrologer was running this company," or, "First order of business, a generous grant of options to Diane Palumbo, along with a new cell phone with her broker on speed dial." Will they disclose that they discussed with the Board of Directors about Technosphere possibilities, "We are pleased to report that the Board was absolutely tickled to hear that Technosphere may be worth something if Afrezza bombs."
The above are just some of the issues with which Spiro must cope; I doubt he gets much sleep tonight, even though his Lia.... er Diane Palumbo voodoo doll does offer him some comfort at times like this.

Baba I'm on red alert. I'll be by my phone 24/7 in case Spiro needs CPR or the defibrillator. Wait a second if the CC doesn't go I well, I may be in need of CPR or the defibrillator. No I'm sure the CC will at least be neutral tomorrow. I can handle if it is neutral but anything less bring on the dirty martinis and I don't mean one, I mean keep them coming indefinitely. Cheers Coco

But I might as well pack the supplies with lunch just in case it can't be helped.

I thought spiro was telling us that there was a tavern an extra mile down the road that carried much better brands of ouzo. www.lesvos.com/ouzo.htmlNow, however, I'm convinced that our beloved spiro (or at least well-liked by many) has undertaken a top-secret mission at great personal risk to secure the information necessary to prove that what some insensitive people call exuberant pumping is actually a great undertaking and quest for truth that often takes hours upon hours of research and analysis and pint after pint of ouzo for volumnous amounts of information to be distilled and condensed into a glaring beacon of truth, the obviousness of which escapes many because of its blinding nature. spiro rocks and ***hic*** don't let nobody tell you different.

There a few glasses of wine at lunch aren't unheard of and certainly not frown upon (but sadly even that is changing)... Vive la France?

Spiro is that a dreamboat in your mouth or are you just enjoying the show? Now don't give us the "I didn't inhale" line. A man of your stature should have his own continuous glucose monitor. Could you imagine the pumping then...?

Thank you for the warm welcome folks. You keep posting and I'll keep reading . Let me add my welcome to the chorus vaijon! You have my admiration for sticking with the YMB for so long! I'm also a refugee from other boards that got hijacked by lunatics with an agenda. Thanks to kc and others, I was referred to this board and now I read it almost exclusively, except for savoring the occasional informed SA article by George Rho or Jeff Eiseman. Informed investors are here with a sense of humor and shared expectations for conforming to the board culture (plus great moderators!) You can tell the character of a board by the company it keeps. There is general consensus here that scoundrels who shill for the shorts are generally despised and we beckon their day of reckoning. There will be the mother of all celebrations when the long awaited short squeeze occurs. As you have discovered, when one invests long in MNKD, one learns to be patient. Chris C

Yep. One look at Chris-c's avatar illustrates he has become more balanced since joining this forum and has nearly recovered from what the YaZoo lunatics did to his brilliant mind.
Chris is spot on. There will be a big celebration coming for longs.

Dear All I have been an avid reader of this board for quite sometime and am one of those whom you enticed to join when various threads became member only. I have been an investor in MNKD since the IPO. - and I plan to stay long, having the utmost confidence in the company. I doubt I will be a contributor to the discussion but thought it only polite to introduce myself and not be a faceless onlooker. Thanks for the intelligent and informative discussions. Its a lovely community you have here.
