Why are we talking about reverse splits on a thread about going to the Shareholder Meeting? OOG In all of this we consider the source and discover what is real. A reverse split to me indicates the company is in trouble. I think the opposite of MNKD; I see it as a triumph and speculation towards a reverse slip as a ploy to undermine confidence. I don't buy this theory. What I have bought and continue to buy is mannkind stock.

1- How many samples have been distributed to physicians?
2- How many do they estimate have been given to patients?
3- How many new paying prescriptions were converted over from samples?

Please, no reverse split! Market psychology on splits is to buy on a split and sell on a reverse split. I held C when it reversed split 10 to 1. With in months it had lost 50%. It recovered, after I loaded up the truck, but it took a year. What would that do to our 2016 calls?

I would be interested to see what motions can pass at the annual meeting since over 86,000,000 shares (35.9%) of the stock is shorted. As Bobw pointed out, those who lent their shares out no longer own the shares, thus do not have voting rights. Those voting rights belong to the 'shorts.'

Actually, the shares and voting rights belong to whomever the shorts have sold them to.

Why are we talking about reverse splits on a thread about going to the Shareholder Meeting? OOG Because in addition to the HC question, there was a suggestion of questions to ask/raise, I believe. But fair enough to send the reverse split vs. dividend vs. buy back to a separate thread. Plenty of meat on that one. Here let me help "tie" this one back to the original topic: Good Morning, this question is directed at our recently appointed Chief Operating Officer Juergen A. Martens. Mr Martens could you confirm if your recent sale of shares was indeed to purchase a new home, and if so are you planning at any time in the near future with such an attractive valuation currently to acquire some back in the near term. After all we know there are a myriad of reasons why insiders may sell, but only one reason why they would buy! Thank you, -Joey Potsandpans Insider buying would probably do more for this stock than anything else (short of a nice BO offer) at this point in time

Hate to have a strong opinion, as I usually do not, but this R/S topic does not make for an interesting discussion. There will be no reverse split. If a reverse split could cause a short squeeze, there would be a lot more reverse splits. End of story and should be end of thread.

I have a topic: Will you be able to notify shareholders when Sanofi requests to expand beyond 3 lines?

Question: Will you be awarding KBALL 10,000 or 15,000 shares for coming up with the very catchy slogan
EAT. BREATHE. RELAX.

Question1: How soon do you anticipate being able to provide sales and/or EPS guidance?
Question 2: What plans, if any, exist for MannKind's Investor Relations department to take a more active role in both defending and promoting this company for investors?
Final Question: Can I have Al's old parking spot?

Those voting rights belong to the 'shorts.' does anyone know when the date of record for proxy (ownership of shares) is- I have searched the 10-K to no avail; sent a request in to Matt thru the IR website (no reply for 4 days) Anyone have his direct email? I want to recall my shares from the lending program before the shorts get proxy for them
