I've noticed on this board recently a continuing dialogue between those who are impatient for MNKD to show some significant Rx growth (and thus, by implication, improve the share price) and those who believe that this is a longer campaign for which many things will need to be accomplished before the stock price reflects a clear trend toward unquestioned blockbuster status and a change in the treatment paradigm for DM.
So, I've constructed the poll above. Consider it a poll about expectations. Everyone has (or should have) a different target share price. And the poll assumes that achieving this target will take a longer period if the target share price is higher. Please indicate the anticipated or expected interval between now and when you truly expect your share price target to be achieved. Since this poll is designed for long term investors, please participate only if your target price is $12 or higher; which sets the minimum target slightly above the high point of the past 52 weeks.

RBC new Target $10.00! from $13.00 initially it was $16.00 so I believe it will be revised again for lower.... So $12.00 is out

6-12 months. I think that within 6 months MannKind will announce one or more Agreements Big Pharma(s) for development, marketing and sales of pipeline drugs. By then Afrezza sales will be on an upward trajectory that leaves little doubt that it is a blockbuster.

Confession: Never had price targets in mind after many years of owning many stocks. But i'm not a day trader.
I do try to limit losses by exiting most stocks that go 20-25% below my purchase price though.
And i'm happy to sell if a better idea comes along after considering any tax implications.
I am hoping for a 5-10 year run with this stock (from now). If its anywhere north of 40 during that time i'd be very happy, but wouldnt necessarily sell.

Its scary to me to think that a majority of people voting expect a 2.5 bagger in just about a year.

A year? I guess it depends what date you're starting from. For me, the game started at FDA approval and I started the stopwatch at the date of the Sanofi Agreement.
$12 would not be a 2 bagger from either of those dates. Instead, it would feel like shareholders would be back to where the base should be, then rise from there based on US/UE/Japan sales and further pipeline development.
Just my opinion...

Still waiting for Kathleen's tsunami ... I guess it ain't going to be happening for awhile That was a nice blog she did! I don't see a tsunami happening...slow rising tide maybe. RX numbers will go up but NOT at a rate that causes NEW investors to jump in. New Partnerships will occur but the time frame that we see it hit the bottom line will be years not months. No SI squeeze...these guys have a strangle hold on the SP...just look at the small trading range for the last month or so.

I'm sticking around for 10-bagger or buy out. Regardless of time, provided no material change to my perception of the value proposition.
This is a once in a lifetime blockbuster opportunity and I'm not on a clock.

I think it'll reach a target price not based on fundamentals but on short covering.
My hope is that we see that covering sometime in the next 18 months. I cant imagine shorts are paying such high interest rate. What if we get an outlier event like approval in Kuwait or UAE? These are state sponsored plans and money is no object to them.

This is a once in a lifetime blockbuster opportunity and I'm not on a clock. Great answer. Thanks. It matches my sentiments exactly with the proviso that the target is reached within a decade. I'm not that keen on passing the fruits of my investment adventures with MNKD on to my children.... Chris-C

Greetings to all from Italy.
I voted for april 2016. But absolutely I ve no target prce in my mind. Within April 2016 I am just expecting PPS over 11$. Also the sentence "I will sell when AL will sell" is fine with me !
Anycase 1 year of Afrezza in the market will give us more and more indications on the good or bad path. We should get the 2 new lines running with increased flexibility production much early before (hope so) Also we should know more about Afrezza expansion outside USA (canno't believe SNY is doing nothing on this and by 1 year from now for sure some news will be pubblic, not approval but way and timing to ... )
Not so sure value will come by that date about Techno area ... If the pipeline has really an amazing value, like we all hope, probably silence will be in place longer ... (no way to have other products in the market soon)
Also me too don't believe in a squeeze ... and don't believe in short covering as well unless PPS will be over 10$ where some real long retailer can decide to exit and Hedge Funds can decide to leave their short side keeping the long side.
Ciao and thanks for this fantastic board !

I suspect that we will know if AFREZZA is a block buster in 12 to 18 months. I doubt that TECHNOSPHERE will have a new commercialized drug with the next 12 to 18 months, though we should know if anything is going before the FDA. In the end, I think Mannkind, like Dr. Mann's other companies, will be sold. That is likely to happen in the next 12 to 18 months.

I think we are at least a year out from staying in the $10+ price range. Although, with some really good news and great sales, the massive pile of shorts could go up in flames and we could see a significant short term spike.
