I was LinkedIn today and search for Afrezza. There are 34 USA Sanofi reps that state there are part of the Afrezza launch team and 1 in Paris France.
There is also 9339 people on LinkedIn that say they currently work for Sanofi.
Here is the areas and number of the reps who say they are on the launch team.
10 NY
3 Chicago
3 Columbus
1 Los Angeles
1 Orange County
1 Indianapolis
1 St Paul
1 Fort Collins
1 Dallas
1 Baltimore
1 Atlanta
1 Davenport
1 Albuquerque

I'm in a corporate environment and only about 20% or less of our associates have a LinkedIn profile. so I call this the 80 / 20 rule. There are many more working on Afrezza than we will ever know.

I think you are right there are probably more then the 34 reps working on this.
Just want to confirmed my feeling that this is a slow launch.

I checked LinkedIn today and searched for Afrezza. When I first reported on this back on 04/16/2015 there were 34 USA Sanofi reps that stated there are part of the Afrezza launch team in the USA and 1 in Paris France.
I have check this about once a month and the number had moved a bit, but not much. When I check last month and it was in the 40's in the USA and 3 in Paris France(Paris has been at 3 for 3 mths now). This month and they are 53 reps that state they are Sanofi reps working on Afrezza and the number in Paris remained at 3.
I know that everybody does not update or use LinkedIn, I just check to see if there is growth.

I think you are right, I just run these number to see if there is growth. There was a move up and it corresponded to the CC that there are more reps working on it. |

Probably not. We just have two JR's who are big on this product, right?

From SNY rep...SNY still promoting Apidra over Afrezza with 2/3 of their reps. Afrezza more of a niche still. Rep only gets commission on Apidra. Only 1/3 of reps commission on Afrezza.
So in essence SNY is in conflict of promoting afrezza, imo.
