Pretty sweet! And so it begins. The past 4 months were just a preamble - ADA was a major inflection point and now the hard launch is getting started. Sanofi will start flexing their marketing muscle, the word of mouth gets magnified as scripts continue to build and doctors continue to notice amazing reports from their patients. If one looks at today as the starting point and forgets about the previous 4 months it looks pretty good, yes? Think maybe Sanofi has been right all along? Patience wins in the end every time. Thanks Harry!

Harry,
Since you seem to have excellent connections for obtaining information, I have to assume that you can also make sure that some information can be sent back upstream. The new afrezza.com is greatly improved over the old site and definitely qualifies as DTC. There is one section that has a small communication problem, however. It is in the Self Assessment section in the questions to be answered.
Examples: "My current diabetes medications are no longer controlling my blood sugar. Yes or No.
A better option: Are your current diabetes medications adequately controlling your blood sugar? Yes or No "I do not have asthma or COPD." Yes or No
A better option: Do you have asthma or COPD? Yes or No
"I do not smoke or have not recently quit smoking." Yes or No
A better option: Do you smoke or have you recently quit smoking? Yes or No
Asking a direct question removes the ambiguity from the wording that is used.
Thanks for any help you can provide and for your tireless work at keeping us informed.

The questions in the self assessment are ambiguous and need to be reworked

Thanks for any help you can provide and for your tireless work at keeping us informed. Welcome, AI! Harry's current contract with this message board does not cover what you ask. However, there is talk of renegotiation of that contract, as many of us feel he really doesn't do enough for us right now. I hope we can afford his services, but they wont come cheap! Those questions were obviously NOT written by a lawyer (at least not one that passed the bar).

Harry,
Thanks for the link. afrezza.com wasn't listed as one of the options so I sent it off to DiabetesWATCH with a reference to afrezza. Hopefully it will get to someone who can do something.

Sales 101.....get them used to saying yes. I'm sure thought was given to the questions.

SHOULD NOT that be:
"I do not smoke or HAVE recently quit smoking." Yes or No

Did a quick search on the website traffic of Afrezza.com on Compete.com. The result is attached. If the data presented there are reliable, it appears the website traffic increased substantially in May 2015 over April 2015 (from 3,116 visitors to 22,519 visitors). The June 2015 data are not available yet. The previous peak was 9,689 visitors in Feb 2015. Attachment Deleted
