Articles folder. Look for "Sanofi Expanding into Inhalables" - you'll find the link in there.

I think everything one needed to know about the future of TS was alluded to yesterday in the UK expansion piece - the journalist alluded to a specific date at which time Sanofi would elaborate further on their model with respect to inhalation therapy. That date was significant to anyone long mnkd. Is there a link to the article on the UK expansion? I haven't seen it yet. News of the proposed expansion comes just weeks after Sanofi CEO Olivier Brandicourt outlined plans for a major corporate restructuring. The plan - full details of which are expected to be released next January - will see Sanofi establish five worldwide business units: general medicines and emerging markets, specialty care, diabetes and cardiovascular, Sanofi Pasteur for vaccines, and Merial for animal health.

It's an existing plant that does not have anything to do with TS. Where is the (illusion) allusion?

There is no indication whatsoever that Sanofi's expansion is related to Afrezza. Sanofi has other inhalable drugs that are manufactured at the site, that's all. Perhaps some people only need to hear the word "inhaled" to get excited.
I'm more excited that MannKind's officers are retaining their derivative and non-derivative securities instead of selling them. Sure they'll take crap for disposing of a few shares to pay taxes, of course, but this is really good news, IMHO.
Have a great weekend.

Perhaps some people only need to hear the word "inhaled" to get excited. What are these other inhalable drugs? They do both inhalers like for asthma (one can find an announcement from some years ago about a big investment from a third party that has Sanofi make their asthma inhaler) and also they do nasal spray products there. Sanofi has patents on inhalation powder technology that have nothing to do with TS. They developed a CFC free inhaler that other drug manufacturers used when they were forced to switch products to CFC formulations. (things I'm recalling from previously looking into Sanofi's other inhalation efforts)

The final deadline for individual tax return is on 10/15. For 2014 tax return one has until 10/15/15 to file and is approaching soon.
This looks to me they are transferring shares to their charities of choice... I don't know about others but I am sure of Al. Cost of his share is lot lower than current market value (or the date of donation). Value of the donated shares are based on the donation date. Hence four different dates for 4 lots of stock transferred/sold. Much better strategy to donate stock then cash. This is done all the time with high net worth individual. This makes total sense to me for odd number of shares and different transferring (sold) dates.
