I could be wrong, but I thought it was that sample packs were free, but not titration packs. Sample packs free and titration packs free through mnkd cares.

Titration package requires a prescription and are free. Question, is a titration prescription counted as a NRx?

Yes they do but it is free. I believe the titration pack is free IF Mannkind Cares has issues getting the insurance to cover. So while Mannkind Cares works through the process of getting approval, the patient can start using Afrezza. If there are no insurance issues I believe Mannkind will be paid by insurer.

I thought the titration packs were free to the patient and submitted for insurance to pay along with the prior authorization needed for afrezza. Perhaps I am wrong.

Peppy I believe you are right as that is also my understanding. Titration Paks are free w a script. The beauty of this is that essentially what is an extended sample counts as a new script and gives serious users time to find the right individual dosing/titration.
The small downside is that we won't see refills for the first Paks distributed in August until Nov most likely.

Are we sure the titration packs are intended to last 90 days? The assmbia announcement referred to them as 30 day titration packs. The refill rate has not picked up yet.

The real duration varies depending on how much insulin you use and whether you need to combine cartridges but the maximum is 60 days (180/3). My guess is that they last 30 to 45 days typically depending on how well the available cartridges fit the meals.

Well, is it possible that the first package after the titration pack show up as NRx? Because there we do see some movement (still kinda low but 50% from a couple of weeks ago)... let's hope this is the beginning of a long trend.. I do like the +20NRx per week!

Although my $30k+ (Long position? LOL wtf was I thinking getting involved because I believed science can make a difference in the PWD community) loss is on paper still, I'm deeply upset that Afrezza & future Technosphere drugs in the pipeline won't see the light of day. Even if scripts incrementally improve over the next few months, it will not matter because the cash raised will be too little to late. Folks MannKind has officially run out of time: no buyout in the next 6-12 months, no partnerships on the horizon and a reverse split would absolutely confirm the death knell of this company. R. Keith Campbell, MBA, BPharm, CDE = the slim-to-none White Knight miracle. R. Keith Campbell praises Afrezza as the greatest game changer in diabetes & serves on the advisory board on insulin for Novo Nordisk yet any acquisition by Novo Nordisk is HIGHLY improbable. Longs suffering like me, it's time to throw in the towel at the end of the year for tax write off purposes. Before I get hate spammed please remember: I've been long since the summer of 2015, Hakan & Pfeffer have drove this company almost to extinction, and the ever increasing massive short position in the stock is definitely the writing on the wall. You go all the way back to summer of 2015? So you might have bought in for about $5 or $6? If that's the case, I have to agree with you, "wtf were you thinking getting involved?"
