Selling at this pps is not worth it. I am out almost $300,000 Hard to stop looking because I have invested too much money! So I will still hold out hope for a rebound, but watching MNKD ignore bashing news stories, now, not attending the ADA conference? etc, just does not make any sense to me! And here we trade for pennies... Even Makers Mark cannot fix this, but I will be giving it a shot or ten. (Pun intended) |

Oh come on Careful. You think you're the only one down $300K here? Suck it up man. You & I invested here heavily because we both believed in Afrezza. Well, I still do and even if I lose every last dime, someday, Afrezza will still help millions. That's what matters to me, not the $350K that I'm down, nor the 100K shares I lost in the r/s. You know what? It's only money in the end & you can't take it with you. So man-up. I've already reconciled myself to the fact that my $350K is gone. So what! I'll just go out there and earn another $350K. You can do that in this country! So stop the bitterness and get yourself going again. Al Mann had a vision, and I want nothing more than to see that vision come to bear fruit. I could care less about my $350K. I will survive nonetheless and always be grateful to simply be alive and enjoy the wonders of life! Aloha.

I was a fool to listen to Matt P and should have realized this when they were sitting on their ass@s doing nothing for an entire two years while partnered with Sanofi. Now whatever they try to do is too little too late. I will invest what I have left for a pitchfork; By the way, I definitely feel better having bit the bullet. |

I tried to warn you all against the r/s and to vote no as a symbolic gesture, but no no here seemed interested in listening. We will be under $1 again in the blink of an eye. What a disaster and such a shame. Afrezza is a fantastic product that could help so many and we're going down. Such a pity, not to mention a financial loss for most here. Oh well, we'll all get pennies on the dollar years from now when the lawsuits are all settled. I'm still in shock they did this r/s. I can't believe the decision of management to push this forward. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I invested in MNKD two or three times over the last few years, for only weeks or months at a time each time, and at most I'm out several hundred dollars. Sold my last shares a bit before the RS. Personally, even though I am gainfully employed and reasonably well off (but live modestly, e.g. I do not own a car), I cannot see myself ever investing north of $300K in a single stock. Heck, I can barely sleep at night if I have a few 10s of thousands invested in any non-blue chip type of company. I guess it just goes to show that people have very different risk tolerances. Even if I presently have no skin in the MNKD game, I feel I learn alot about investing by following the MNKD story. |

My answer was in my response to Kastanes where I wrote...cut and pasted "I hear ya! And we are not alone in that F'ing boat!" So no, I do not believe that I am the only one! It's pretty clear that many of us have lost a lot of money with MNKD. Secondly, $300k is a lot of money to me! Maybe not so much to you! More power to you, if it's just a drop in the bucket for you. In addition, I realize that I can earn more, I lost more than that in 2000 in the market, and I recovered! 17 years later, losing 300k leaves more of a mark! Especially after what has transpired in my life since. $300k ends up being quite a bit! And I do not think that I am alone with this perspective either. I think what we agree on is that I too, hope that AL's dream comes to fruition. But watching ones investment get squandered due to poor management decisions also leaves a mark! AFREZZA is too good to be in this position 3 years after FDA Approval! That is the bottom line! Maybe you should place me back on ignore. I feel for you. It was taken over by crazy commies just what was close to happen to the US with Sanders and pathetic Hillary. We avoided that bullet but getting rid of commies is like getting rid of cancer with chemotherapy. They destroy the very fiber of a nation before they give up. Check out scandanavian governments and their happiness rankings to get where Bernie gets his influence. |

I can see the appeal in Bernie's platform but he's totally ignorant about markets.
Most high frequency trading is done to ensure that ETFs (and ETNs) reflect the price of their underlying assets. If someone makes money doing it they pay taxes on their profits just like anyone else. The idea of punishing people for doing something that's essential to the market makes no sense. If anything we should reward people for doing it. How would you like to overpay for a stock when the index it's in is crashing? How would you like to sell a stock too cheaply when the index it's in is rising?
It makes no more sense to tax HFT losses than it does it tax someone on their Mannkind losses. Many people who appreciated that Bernie wasn't pro-war, and owned by corporations like Hillary, wished that he could speak intelligently about financial issues.
