Afrezza has been approved three years and the results it's current users are experiencing are exceeding all exceptions. At the same time no safety concerns have been raised. In fact, many afrezza user's have called it life changing. Al Mann often talked about a small country which wanted to purchase $200M of afrezza. With the safety and performance results exceeding expectations it would seem this small country would be more interested now that real world results have been realized. Are they and when can we expect the deal to be closed?

In May 2015 soon after the afrezza launch Stephen Schwarz from Sanofi was interviewed on the new drug launch. Mr Schwarz was asked about the T2 market and afrezza's fit. Mr Schwarz responded by saying 70% of the current T2s are not meeting goal and this is a huge market opportunity for afrezza. He also said that a different approach may need to be taken for afrezza adoption. Several weeks ago Dr. Bruce Bode during a Medscape educational session said all T2s should be on afrezza within a year or two of diagnosis. Does Mannkind think the T2 market is viable and did Stephen Schwarz share with Mannkind the alternative approach he was considering?

Are they and when can we expect the deal to be closed? If I was buying 200 million of Afrezza that has expiration date for 18 months to 2 years , I would rather buy stock in the background and just get life time supply for less than 80 million. What's your reply?

Question are now closed for submission.
I will consolidate the top 7-10 like questions for an official poll today when I get a chance.
Top 4 polling questions make the cut, I or the other mods get an additional question to bring the count to 5.
