How many users does One Drop have? I thought they were just getting started themselves. I did just dig around and found that they've only raised $10M in investment money. It's impressive what they've done with that amount of money. Maybe I missed a discussion of this... is the actual meter technology something that they are simply licensing and throwing some snazzy industrial design on? Seems $10M would be way too little to develop and get approval for a meter. It's an Agamatrix meter in a pretty case. (Not that Agamatrix makes bad meters, they have some quite good ones). Most of my career has been with startups. Seems like they have a good business model. Getting into a huge market but minimizing the capital required... and adding in a "network" component that if lucky and larger players are slow to react, may end up being something they'll pay big bucks for. While counting on big boys to be slow to react isn't a sure thing, it happens often enough to have made many, many entrepreneurs very wealthy. Maybe us investors would have been better off if Al had just licensed Novolog and developed a chrome injection pen with leather case and an app to record doses and BG readings... that would have cost a heck of a lot less than $2B Hmmm... does anyone have Novo Nordisk BD contact?

The shorts know that what we need even more than money is awareness. And One Drop will give us more than they counted on. Time for them to go long:-)) How many users does One Drop have? There were ~130 ratings Apple iStore has 450 ratings, I don't see any #-of-download metrics The apple app launched roughly 2 years ago (Android soon after), according to the oldest review I could find If even 5% of the app users are able to get Afrezza, it would be a significant bump in scripts.

This will probably hit 2.00 tomorrow.. Finally I believe MNKD potential may be recognized by some big investors. Once this thing starts there no ceiling or limit to where it goes.. Agree Pro. It may take some time.. but there was no reason for this to fall under 2 bil m/c. or $20 pps. We were at $45 at SNY partnership How do you justify a $2 billion market cap with cumulative sales of ~$22 million over two years? (That figure is taken from this board) and a documented history of stagnant sales? Really?

I didn't see the initial response since he's on ignore. If this has nothing to do with an unverified claim that Afrezza will be marketed in the UAE, please explain to me what is leading today's 30% pop. If you say One Drop, you're the one that needs to get real. The announcement was made last week and we didn't see a reaction of any significance, not to mention that Afrezza's role with the program is yet to be determined. If no other explanation, then a 30% pop with no news is a set-up for another round of shorting to drive the price down and profit once again. Could be that OneDrop is now on Amazon? Apple is even spiking today on the rumors they are linking up with MNKD

There are already millions that are able to get Afrezza. There has to be a desire followed by action (both patient and dcotor) for it to result in scripts. There may be some beneficial exposure from collaboration with One Drop, which we sorely need, but it isn't going to change the prescribing habits of doctors overnight.

I was thinking about how OneDrop would be a good advertising platform for Afrezza. They have online coaching, as well as "The blog and daily tips also keep you up to date on the latest diabetes technology and news." Millions may be able to get it, but OneDrop can help make then aware of the product.
The online coaching for Afrezza may be the most valuable part of their service, to keep people up to date with the latest advice for dosing amount and timing.

I had better be real because if it isn't then it looks like an attempt to manipulate price and the SEC and LEA are going to be all over it. The SEC only takes on Martha Stewart type matters. They did absolutely NOTHING about the previous blatant MNKD manipulation and will do the same now. My guess is NOT legit unfortunately.
