Anyone care to ponder why no news from this meeting has hit the airwaves....? For those that were there did it seem like hype? Ie: similar to last years offer of cash from a group of foreign investors. I don't like the fact that leadership used the collaborative partners as a side show to avoid questions from shareholders. Does anyone outside of us even care? Everyone knows that in a few months the company is out of business. Did they discuss how they intend to raise money to keep the doors open? It seems that the question is not if MNKD is going to go bankrupt, but what month will they file. I have no hope for this company going forward. I bought 2000 more shares this week hoping for good news. Threw it away with the rest of my money. Shame on me.

What a total sh-tshow - Once again they needed to come up big - And flatlined.....At least from what I read on the shoutbox that's how it appears.

Lets hope after we tap the last of the mann ATM it gives us enough runway to show progress F'ing somewhere! Whether that be in our lackluster sales force, the onedrop deal and selling OTC, or a partnership / deal for crying out loud. SOMETHING. so far the only winners are those smart enough to be on Afrezza w/ great results and short sellers for predicting a niche sales environment w/ inept management.

No good news today does not mean we are not close to any.

I don't think Matt said a word.. Could it be he is tongue tied by lawyers advice. (quite period) Wait a second... promann, were you at the meeting? Is this a fact, that Matt didn't say a word? If so, that could be the news of the event. We are all back to smoking hopium and praying there is a good reason for the tight lips. And not just measly "collaboration", i mean a deal w/ upfront money. I mean a deal that will get some SH confidence back, a deal that will drive SH value. After all, that is what CEO's of public companies do!!!!!

How is it that the CEO of a company does not say anything during a once a year shareholders meeting? CoB conducts ASM. CEO didn't say anything lest he slips his tongue. Doubt he'd reveal anything during the social milling either. Except the CoB wasn't there. What a slap in the face of every shareholder this company has. CEO should say SOMETHING instead of sitting there like a knot on a log. Meeting was a complete bust from what I gather. Nothing of substance and likely just MNKD meeting a legal requirement rather than actually provide shareholders any information of value.

No good news today does not mean we are not close to any. Very true. But we've been waiting on good news for how long now???

Can somebody verify for me 1. Kent wasn't there 2. Matt said nothing
I hate to say it but it sounds like more smoke and mirrors. Did anybody ask any tough questions?
I looked at the partial transcript and seems like we got played again.

It seems MNKD made some progress. I can't wait to see the firs TV commercial in July. I am buying.

So, from what I read (I wasn't there and would love for others to show proof to the contrary)
1. No questions. That's right - no shareholders got to speak. Just vote the comp package, pls 2. Shareholders just sat there & took it 3. No news on the large list of fanciful partnerships or shipments (other than Onedrop and Reversed). 4. Carrot dangled about OTC. If they knew they would be doing this, why didn't they put it in the sNDA they submitted? This would take another year (if approved). An obvious stalling tactic meant to fool those who don't understand a. FDA regs b. FDA timelines c. the cost of Afrezza 5. No mention of requirement for financing 6. No mention of these yellow post cards 7. No mention of Receptor
Wow. Quite the meeting.

Regardless of lack of news today the market has bid the company up 40% this month. Seems like we need to hear about that mideast filing before we go forwards or backwards.

I hope when a deal comes, it will be something unexpected and not something we were anticipating. It would add validity to MNKD working behind the scenes and not telegraphing news for the share price to be manipulated with. I'm glad Matt was allegedly quiet today and did not throw out any fluff.

Thanks to all those who attended for updating the rest of us. Based on no discussion here, I am assuming that the answer to this question is no, but did they discuss the other drugs in the pipeline, international expansion for Afrezza, or plans to secure financing to keep the company going? They just had the earnings CC eight days ago. What did you expect them to say? The disappointment is that they did not take questions or even offer to explain the Aegis fiasco. Yes the unofficial portion of the meeting seem to be a dog-and-pony show, but it provided some substance to the prospects for the TV show and the OneDrop collaboration. The OTC Afrezza was forward thinking and shouldn't have been construed as a panacea for current problems. It could have been a not-so-veiled threat to endos and PBMs to either cooperate or we will put you out of the diabetes business. The only news was Mike expecting scripts to be up this week. While some may think this was hot air, Mike has the numbers on PAs in the queue at MNKDCares, so he has a good idea of how NRx are going. I doubt he would intentionally mislead. And I don't think he would have suggested this if scripts were only up 1 or 2. Recently scripts have been pretty close to the highs set by the contract team, though still far from the SNY highs. Nevertheless, it would be somewhat comforting to see the in-house sales team exceeding the contracted team's efforts. It would show continued, albeit slow progress and maybe some support for the stock price.

Someone reported Mike C said he expected scripts to begin rising this week. That's a pretty bold and specific timeline from what is normally said. Let's see if scripts rise tomorrow or he's talking about scripts this week that will be reported next Friday. In any case, it's not like we've been disappointed before
