The way I read that is that the T1 is on Afrezza, not the T2s.

I gotta say, i just saw the commercial for the other sponsor for this show and it really pissed me off. Not a good look to be associated with these guys at all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nFhReePzN4

Guess not. www.advfunctionalmedicine.com/"Functional medicine addresses the underlying cause of a disease as opposed to using medications that only mask symptoms." www.advfunctionalmedicine.com/diabetes-info"Most patients are able to reduce and eliminate the need for multiple medications and insulin, and reduce and eliminate the risk for diabetic complications, and even have the ability to become clinically NON-DIABETIC."

I always thought we were sponsoring a show and not getting an infomercial. I didn't see Afrezza linked in the madog365 advert, so not sure what our association is with them. Haven't gone through the site mnkdfann put up but didn't see any connection there between Afrezza or Reversed. Again, ? ? ?

MannKind is just one of several companies that have bought commercials in the show. I posted this on July 10th: From an article about the show at www.statnews.com/2017/06/05/reversing-diabetes-reality-tv/
Mattocks makes a point of telling STAT that he’s not promising anyone they can “reverse” their diabetes. But he has, in the past, said exactly that.
And one of the sponsors of his show expressly promised that, too — on camera. The company, OneCare, makes software to help patients manage their diabetes. And in exchange for his $6,000 sponsorship, CEO Gary Austin got to film a segment on set in Jamaica in which he explains to the cast members how his product works — and tells them it will help them vanquish diabetes. “It’s possible,” he told them. “You can reverse it.”

Ok sorry if my message was unclear. I was disappointed to find our that Mannkind is not the exclusive sponsor of the show and that this other company will also be running a commercial during the reversed program. My issue with this other company's commercial is that they claim to reverse diabetes, which is exactly what Charles has previously said this show's title is not meant to portray. while charles is aiming to reverse daibetics' lifestyles, this company is actually claiming in their commercial to reverse diabetes. It's BS and looks and sounds cheap to me.
Mannkind is not associated with this company, but their commercial will run adjacent to them which i don't like.

Advanced is the company with that commercial airing on Reversed that another linked to on YouTube. I saw the name of the company at the YouTube video link and just searched for its website.

For goodness sake, I hope this doesn't become about the 10th thing that we anticipate positively and blows up in our face, Wiley Coyote style. Patterns, patterns, patterns.

What I have heard is there is one person on the show using Afrezza. And Laura is on the show talking about it and motivating and counseling others.

At the ASM, I belive Charles said that there is a patient on the show on Afrezza He tweeted it out that there was to Nancy my girl friend on Twitter but I can't find the tweet:-( I've been looking for 20 min. You'd think I would have posted it under the reversed thread. But I checked with Nancy and she confirmed be did say it.

If you are running your advert alongside these snake oil adverts you can get tarred by association. I really don't like the involvement of Depasquale either. It comes down to whether this is a serious program or sensationalist reality TV. There is nothing wrong with the later but it's not going to help Mannkind.

That article contained at least one major mistake: He's now teamed up with MannKind Corp. as the sole sponsor, began production early this year and just wrap up this past month, to start final editing before the show airs in July. The introductory season will feature 10 episodes.
