Do instead of telling Mannkind to ensure they work with local pharmacies and distributors and make them aware of the new SKU we blame McKesson which moves so much volume that they could care less of Afrezza which sells 400 scripts a week?
Wow 😳 everything in this world even my dog 🐶 is against Afrezza and Mannkind 😀

Interesting facts. I tried to fill my prescription of boxes of 60-4s + 30-8s, which as reported, would soon be unavailable. McKesson told my local pharmacy that Afrezza was discontinued. They did the same thing back when Sanofi dropped Afrezza and Mannkind took Afrezza back. I mention this because McKesson is part of the problem in this puzzle. Mannkind should sue McKesson for obvious reasons. Something smells rotten here. JMHO! You have gotten your prescription filled there before?
my guess is it may have been the SKU numbers. www.screencast.com/t/ByP84qolYQrX
Yes, it was definitely the SKU, but my point is, McKesson is telling pharmacy's and therefore doctors, that Afrezza is discontinued. I have a copy of the page that was faxed to my doctor telling him, "Afrezza discontinued, please advise!"

What happens if the pharmacy enters a wrong sku? System could have said discontinued.he should have tried other NDC. Pure human botch and you could have asked him to check Other NDC.
I usually keep track of the NDC of my medication as my pharmacy keeps filing my RX with different generics which of their own NDC

Remember when it happened to Tom also? He was trying to order the 12's. CVS said they couldn't order it. Tom had to ask Scott for the code numbers.
They were telling him they only had 3 boxes left of the 4's and then that's all she wrote. They were the old SNY ones. Surely the system works better than that? IDK

Wow 😳 everything in this world even my dog 🐶 is against Afrezza and Mannkind 😀 Who controls the SKU? Does the Doctor begin the process with the Script? How does the Pharma know which SKU. Maybe the issue is also going to be Doctor education. Chicken/Egg situation.
