I deal with UHC on a fairly regular basis in the state of Washington - Their dual snp plan is king out here - and Afrezza is no where to be seen and I meet with diabetics all the time - I typically put them in Royal Neighbors or Foresters policies as they are diabetic friendly with regards to rates and coverage (Whole life). Total bullshit IMO - But that is a company that Mike C and crew should focus on. If and when MNKD gets Afrezza on the UHC tier drug coverage - game friggen on IMO Yes, and Joey has a thread on them also.

MiKe C. did mention this in the Q3 2017 Results - Earnings Call: " We continue to expect an increase in payer coverage as we go into 2018 and beyond."I don't know if this is what you are referring to. Thanks, Sla. Yeah, that could have been it. Maybe my mind inserted the word Medicare into that sentence. It has done funnier things than that.

I'm now wondering if Afrezza was approved for Medicare Part D, but then MannKind must negotiate pricing with various payers that administer the Medicare coverage? Medicare Part D with AARP would be a really BIG deal that could significantly boost sales of Afrezza. It doesn't look like it, MN. I ran a query for Afrezza in my state and it said "No 2018 plans found meet your search criteria". I ran that query here: q1medicare.com/PartD-2018-SearchPDPMedicareDrugFinder.php

I think my point was that MannKind may still be in negotiations and wouldn't be listed yet. I had checked out your link about ten days ago after receiving an email that Medicare Part D coverage for Afrezza was available in Idaho. Are there more yet to come? I don't know the answer to that but I hope more Medicare plans will pick up Afrezza in 2018.
