Mannkind should clarify RLS’s involment and correct if it’s wrong. Mike keeps promising information about RLS but we are still waiting.
I wonder if RLS will still be listed on the next set of presentation slides. I did see Andrea Bay-Lione’s (sp) name mentioned in the trial info.

I looked an couldn't find a direct reference to Andrea. Where exactly did you discover it? Under links found in the Resources section?

Mike spoke about RLS during the Oppenheimer presentation. RLS is manufacturing an inhaled version of cannabinoid for chemo patients dealing with nausea and vomiting. RLS’s treatment will compete with the slower acting oral synthetic, Marinol.

Yep. Only a 5 minute onset compared to 1 to 2-1/2 hours for the other brands listed PLUS no effect on appetite, which the others cannot claim. I'm hoping that ,with Andrea helping with its development, an IND will soon be filed. That may trigger a 2nd milestone payment, too.

That hardly seems possible since that's the main reason for using dronabinol to treat AIDS anorexia -- to boost their appetite.

I think the first effect it has on food, is food can be kept down, vs emesis. Perhaps there are no munchies.

Being inhaled, obviously food would not affect absorption.

That makes sense...consistent delivery of the desired API dosage may be one of the biggest benefits of pulmonary delivery technology.
