And my question is so what if they did? It was still administered under U of C oversight. As I understand it plenty of studies are underwritten by the potential beneficiary in pharma.

He added right after: Very sad to see these seeking alpha articles attacking #afrezza & @mannkindcorp. The writer says no compensation or positions in the company.A nice guy trying to save everyone from this wonderful drug? Just doing community service warning strangers on Memorial weekend?Total joke! 7:36 AM - May 28, 2018

Ugh! If this isn't the epitome of FUD I don't know what is. The proverbial general statement as follows from our fellow board member Matt: " It works the other way too; the best team is no guarantee of success if the science does not prove out and the science around Afrezza has many unanswered questions" My retort: Really, suppose you enlighten us on that broad and general statement of "the science around Afrezza has many unanswered questions", hmmm maybe you're right as to at least one question I ask everyday: How come it is the only treatment to reduce my A1c as effectively as it has and in as short a period as it has? I am convinced that the "best team" in this particular situation with their extensive experience surrounding their respective backgrounds in turnaround situations and one especially having been involved with standard of care and mealtime insulin already know the answers to those "many unanswered questions". Either they are pretty stupid for leaving their prior positions at some of the leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies (Amgen, Astella, & Eli Lilly respectively) for a company with many "unanswered questions" regarding "the concern of it's continuance as an ongoing entity", OR, they see Afrezza for what it really is, a game changer for the PWD population. I suspect that it is the latter....I know that is not what you have bet on and professed to others but I figure you will eventually see the light. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend while I go have a nice lunch, take my Afrezza, and then go to see a Stanley Cup final while I remain in range with my insulin that still "has many unanswered questions"

I really think it is a sign that the shorts see that they are running out of time. Seems almost too desperate of an article even for them. Especially now with one of the most well respected global diabetes experts (dr. K) saying just the opposite to the world. Was one thing to come out with an article like this a couple of years ago w Dr. Urbanski at the helm where the less informed might succumb to the FUD but today? Really? It was actually a very amusing article for me to read when considering how desperate it made LFD sound unless he is as Joey says just so uneduacated (paraphrasing)

matt you also stated the contract sales group would cost $10 million / month. When asked to justify that you feel silent. Care to explain?

The short argument is becoming one only the competition can support and you dont need a position to support that.

I see a light at the end of the tunnel now. Because of the annual shareholder meeting and yes because of Dr. Kendall but more than that it’s what I’ve heard in the last two weeks. I have friends and sources that I’ve cultivated for years, people that work at SNY, Lilly, and sell CGM’s. My friend lives next door to a woman who works at SNY and sold Afrezza. Mannmade and I argue every week, he tells me it has to come from the Endo’s, I tell him you’ve got to tell the patients! Patient demand! ( And that was basically because I’d given up on the stubborn Endo’s...we just aren’t on their radar.) Well that seems to have changed recently. Before when I asked my sources they said they hadn’t heard anything, that we’re not really on anyone’s radar. But now the Endo‘s are asking about Afrezza..they’re asking the reps that sell the CGM’s. ( I’m not gonna say what company.) but they are interested... they are definitely waking up. It might take a while, they might put one person on Afrezza and wait for months, but the tide is turning:-) I suspect Nate is hearing similar things. So I might be telling Mannmade he was right after all:-)
I’ve always seen a light at the end of the tunnel, the light was Afrezza. But now I’m seeing patches of blue sky😎

Regardless of who funded trial. I truly believe the editors at SA have an agenda to push. Everytime I post something contrary to MNKD it ends of disappearing. SA the equivalent of Motley Fool. Crap.
