The one negative thing I noticed is the very short stays at her last two jobs. She only stayed 7 months at both???

Seems she had the opportunity to go from VP to SVP and SVP to CMO. I’m sure working for Dexcom and then Mannkind in elevated roles was too interesting to pass up.

When I have conversations off this board Dexcom comes up over and over again. We have reps that used to work at Dexcom that are looking forward to the turn around here like they had there. Dexcom reps are getting asked questions about Afrezza by the Endo’s. They are very friendly towards us. And people higher up are “expecting great things” from us:-) All Good!

She doesn't stay with anyone company for long. Seems like a temporary contract hit person. That is troubling. She has to know Afrezza from her tour with Sanofi so that is positive. Marketing has always been the weak link since we know the product is amazing. All you have to do is watch the commercial and the Outsulin character and tag line to know MNKD needs some serious help with marketing. It will be interesting to see what she brings to the table.

The one negative thing I noticed is the very short stays at her last two jobs. She only stayed 7 months at both??? having a marketing leader with significant managed care experience is a good thing. Not worried about some jumps here and there. Who knows why. Don’t care. She’s got the experience from 2 of the top 3 insulin manufacturers and the cgm company in the stat study. Marketing about to begin. 👍🏻

All speculation aside here, I must admit that after years and years of pps pain and suffering, I strongly believe we are beginning to make the turn off of the dirt road full of potholes and hit some solid ground...Fast...The price of shares for the last year have been a gift and has allowed me to average down big time. This is absolutely one of the most grotesquely undervalued companies in the world and in turn one of the most lucrative plays in bio tech history. I am ready to come through with all the promised gifts from my mnkd riches lol. Great board, great people, great company.

P.S. My father is setting up his appointment with VDEX in Espanola next week and I have not heard him as enthused about anything relating to his disease since.

Not really true, she was at Sanofi for 3 years, Bristol Myers for 2, and Novo for 6. Also, CMO can refer to both Chief Medical Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. Outside of pharma, most people will think of Marketing. Looks like another strong hire to me, and certainly needed in the marketing department.

Always nice to get someone that has been on the other side....held some key positions with NVO and will be able to exploit the weaknesses of the barbaric side of NVO, so now we have two from the each of the barbaric, obsolete (my word) and unpredictable Raa's to lead the way with networks galore. From her time at NVO: Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals Senior Director, Managed Markets Strategy & Health Economic Outcomes Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals January 2006 – January 2012 (6 years 1 month) Novo Nordisk A/S Executive Director Health Economics & Outcomes Research Novo Nordisk A/S January 2006 – January 2012 (6 years 1 month) Novo Nordisk AVP, Managed Markets Strategy & Operations Novo Nordisk 2006 – January 2012 (6 years) Read more: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/10088/castagna-welcome-garrett-mannkind-family?page=1#ixzz5I2v7Sz7q

Look how Novo Nordisk was able to turn, this into that. Marketing. Designed to START working fast. Enters the blood steam in 2 1/2 minutes. Options, start of the meal or with in 20 mins after the start of a meal. A Marketing pro. Didn't lie. the first tiny bit does enter the blood stream in 2 and 1/2 mins. First measurable effect 20 mins ok. peak effect 1 and 1/2 hours. Interesting gig huh? Afrezza, in the blood stream in less then a min. you can take it at the start of a meal.... PLUS: *low rate of severe hypoglycemia. Let the marketing begin, right after we can make the continuous glucose monitor results public and post the pics. Then for the pre-athurization strategy send in a picture of your continuous glucose monitor reading, and the stat study results and say, you want afrezza.

Great hire! Her resume is impressive and she's gearing up Afrezza for a solid post-ADA marketing follow-up IMO. I'm glad they got her. I wanted to see some action for what comes after ADA. This is good. Onwards!

I think it would be a wise move for Kevin Sayer to make a move now while his pps is way up and put two old Minimed pieces back together; the CGM; and afrezza.
