For some reason there are current Lantus commercials. Does this mean sanofi is giving up on toujeo?

No, they're NOT "going nationwide." They've just resumed buying time in a few selected markets. Unfortunately, we're not yet able to afford a nationwide campaign. OK. Not national but, over 14% of the country and Ontario, Canada Mannkind is spending dollars to advertise throughout Ontario, Canada? That's a huge region. About the same size as Texas & Montana, combined. Realistically, why would Mannkind spend to show an ad anywhere in the Canadian market? Where Afrezza isn't even available? Logic suggests it didn't. The ad was probably purchased to run in some U.S. market and the viewer in Canada saw it on his local cable feed of that U.S. broadcast. Or possibly via a antenna, satellite dish, etc. We see a lot of U.S. ads here in Canada that way. |

I thought Mike said they restarted tv ads in the US and Canada at the conference yesterday. He obviously didn’t listen to the webcast:-) No, I didn't. I was outside cycling for nearly 8 hours along the local river pathway network yesterday instead. Yay, me! Do you mean to say Mike really did say they are paying to run commercials in Canada? A market they aren't in, and will not be in for (at least) many more months (more likely years)? If so, I guess Mannkind has money to burn after all. |

How do you determine if a commercial is local, regional, or national? (Sometimes the local ones are obvious if they are for a local company.)

I wonder if they have been tapping the ATM for the advertising money? It would make sense because you are selling at market and not having to give away discounts and warrants as in past sales. |

surprise. I was watching youtube. 'The Skinny on Obesity (Extra): Four Sweet Tips from Dr. Lustig" and the afrezza commercial came on prior to the you tube.  |
