It’s not going to matter to potential partners if Mike misses guidance, what we need to show is traction. Big 2h push!

Mike wasn't concerned about not hitting the guidance numbers. We assumed it was a sign of confidence that he would somehow hit the numbers. Perhaps he wasn't concerned about the numbers because he knew there would be larger problems that would overshadow the guidance numbers.

Perhaps he wasn't concerned about the numbers because he knew there would be larger problems that would overshadow the guidance numbers. Or there were bigger solutions that would easily solve the guidance concerns. It’s all in how you look at it.

market looks 6-12 months out too, so price should move well in advance. Not if the company does not hit guidance. questionable last year with accounting smoke and mirrors, and way behind for 2018 guidance. You are unique, Mr./Ms traderdennis-. I'm glad you're here. There is/was a similar poster (much more informed/eloquent) on the Yahoo SRPT board when it was trading in the $29 range. Have a great weekend!

Ever hear of $DRYS? They were diluted so much that a share from a few years ago was worth about a 1.5 billion per share and now is worth about five bucks. I'm aware of DRYS. Not sure how it is in any way comparable to MNKD. Anyway, if anything that example helps illustrate my point. A low share price doesn't kill a company. DRYS is still a going concern. Investors got hurt, sure, but DryShips was not killed. You work hard here. Thanks again for being in the "postaholic" category. I bought more MNKD today.

Mnkdfann - I had something else in mind. My Mailman always delivers. If Dr. Kendall fails to deliver then I guess we will have to go with your guy and how sad would that be? I am not sure we could have a better guy to deliver than the guy who use to be the CMO of the ADA.

...and Research Physician and Vice President of Global Medical Affairs for Lilly Diabetes, one of the top diabetes pharmaceutical in the world. The guys know is stuff and he think that afrezza is a great product and should be SOC. On the other hand, some peoples on this board dont believe him and question his conclusions because he didnt buy any mnkd shares yet .... Mmmm who should i trust, though question...i think Ill go with...

So the guy who knows the product better than anyone, has uncovered all this great data, and is seemingly the one that is supposed to lead the journey to SOC doesn't buy shares with his own money when he said he would. Wouldn't he be pouring in money hand over fist if he thought that the opportunity was so great with "veins of gold" flowing in all directions?
Either he... 1) Doesn't believe in Afrezza as much as this board claims he does (unlikely) 2) Knows the process will be longer than we all would like and not a slam-dunk like many are hoping with more dilution (can buy in later if he chooses at a lower price, no hurry)
It's not a great signal either way for investors. You can talk all day about how great everything is. I prefer those who lead by example.

Didn't Mike C and Kent Kresa just buy some shares on the open market though? Might be wrong because I don't follow the story nearly as close as a lot on here, but that would weaken your argument a little if true.
