Intense short selling volume over the last three days per Volumebot. Date Percent Short Volume 8/23/19 70.58% 8/24/19 75.14%
8/25/19 73.45%
It appears the shorts are trying very hard to drop the price below $1.00. So over the last several days, the only people selling are shorts. So much for the “market” speaking on the price. If the only ones selling are people that are intent on driving the price down, how can this be considered a fair market for MannKind. It isn’t. And hasn’t been for a long time. Based on the fact that the shorts tried very hard to drop the price below $1.00 over the past 6 trading days and failed. Today we are seeing low volume with no price movement. My guess is that we see a sharp drop in the short percentage today as they have ceased the effort to go below $1.00. Since there seems to be a floor at $1.04, everyone is in a waiting pattern until the latest UTHR news comes out. My guess is that the shorts were counting on the uncertainty right now to go below the $1.00 floor. Someone is willing to buy everything at around $1.04 thus setting the floor that the shorts can’t penetrate at the moment. My hope is that good news from UTHR will send the price higher from here. It would be nice to get that news this week, but not counting on it. |

Shorts seem hesitant, longs lay in wait. I keep hearing the theme song from Jaws playing in my head. Will it be a Dip@Rip. I dont know, but Im ready if it is. |

This may have been a test run. I’m pretty confident that we can expect a massive bear raid within the next 5 weeks. probably a bear rod when they announce the initial shipment to Brazil or start of q4 when no announcement has been made. |

Being contented ... is for cows. I'll probably sell a few shares at $50, and a few more at $100, and the rest goes to my daughter. My wife always worry about how I will pay the taxes if I sell these shares. Taxes ... Smaxes ... I worry more about how I will spend all this money !!! And that's why my daughter will get it ... with a new, sky high cost basis.
