For about $25 you can wire money to your E*Trade account and it gets there in about 2 hours or less. 

I transfer money into my Fidelity account from my linked bank account which makes the money available to trade instantly.  No charge for the transaction.

Same with my eTrade account. An immediate transfer from my linked bank account is available to trade instantly and there's no charge. Maybe they just need to set this up for their account.

And I chatted with E*Trade last night and told them that an electronic transfer is not the same as depositing a check. 3 or 4 day holds are ridiculous. Customer service was congenial and poof ... it was in my account with full authorization to use. And poof ... more shares of MNKD is in my daughter's account. Would have been nicer if I had received it on Monday and could buy in 9 cents cheaper. But what the heck ... it's only a tent.

If I had the monies in my E*Trade bank account it would have been there in a flash.  But, my linked Hawaii bank accounts are way, way, way over here ... I guess.  Maybe baba is right and the world does spin the "wrong way"
