I need my peppy fix. Peppy, what is happening with this price movement today? I'm no Peppy, but it looks like there's just no volume, so relatively small orders can dramatically move the needle. Not much to see IMO. |

Don’t know. Why would anyone assume they were bought back based upon those numbers? Nakedshoetreport.com shows the following:
Volume 782,81, Shorted 508,924, % shorted 65.01

From what I've read, the SEC ability to read the tea leaves available from the DTCC make it difficult to impossible to know. Is it impossible that regulation could be put in place to improve DTCC reporting? I think we all know the answer. Why is it every administration ignores the dark (shady?) investment banking practices? |
