With "partners" like this, who needs competitors. onedrop.today/blogs/blog/fiasp-insulin-why-its-different-how-it-worksInteresting comparison chart on time to onset for Fiasp vs. Afrezza. I had no idea they could claim a faster onset than Afrezza, 2x faster even. Top that with a whole bunch of user quotes, and it seems the FDA or someone has corraled MNKD into doing nothing with their marketing department. Seems like MNKD should take a lesson from Novo's playbook.

And if you do, do it when you have time to check and adjust a lot. I get high blood sugars I’ve never had before. I use about 30% more than Humalog and was still high. And I'm hungrier, and put on weight as a result.” - @moumone1"

Well if that was the case then why say "However, compared to Afrezza, it’s actually a bit slower. But Afrezza is an inhaled insulin -- not easily covered by insurance -- and thus, sort of in a category of its own." She should have just said Afrezza is faster.

From the package inserts.

I wondered if they were intentionally muddying the difference between PK an PD?

The article claims onset of action of Fiasp is 2 to 15 minutes. As you can see from the Fiasp package insert (courtesy of Peppy), that's not true. How do they get by with printing these lies?

The author of that does not appear to have been particularly friendly or unbiased in her writings about Afrezza. All I did was a search for "Ginger Vieira Afrezza". This post from about a year ago told me everything I want to know about her:

The accelerant list by memory, niacin. ever looked up niacin? "Niacin (also known as vitamin B3) is one of the water-soluble B vitamins. Niacin is the generic name for nicotinic acid (pyridine-3-carboxylic acid), nicotinamide (niacinamide or pyridine-3-carboxamide), and related derivatives, such as nicotinamide riboside [1-3]. Niacin is naturally present in many foods, added to some food products, and available as a dietary supplement. liane help me here. somewhere, the accelerant came up as nicotine. Here it is, agedhippie Interesting gig huh? The Many Names And Faces Of Vitamin B3 www.acsh.org/news/2017/08/11/many-names-and-faces-vitamin-b3-11677I never liked the One Drop gig. One, one drop user I read, hadn't received the promised strips.

peppy - I come up with nicotinamide as the absorption enhancer.

Because MannKind has not filed a complaint with the FDA? Does anyone know if MNKD is planning to file a complaint or are we going back to the old days when so many bashed and lied about MNKD and Afrezza and our previous management just let it happen?
