I realize that this idea has been brought up before, but honestly, if MNKD management reads this mb, I think this is really important!
Ozempic has their commercial to the tune of It's "Magic" by the Pilots. ...O,o,o it's magic...you know... Trisiba has the song from Earth, Wind and Fire "Lets groove tonight", (although the guy dancing around, we could do without) But you have to admit, these commercials do get your attention! Think how those songs stick in your head (like it or not)
Afrezza needs to get the rights to use Faith Hills' "Breathe" Our next AFREZZA commercial needs to improve and implementing this song with a well thought out visual concept, we'll definitly have a commercial that will get peoples attention and help to achieve a successful ad campaign. GLTA LONGS!!

"Just Getting Started" We're stepping in the ring And won't let that lady sing It's over when we say it's over Been brushing off our shoulders It's not a twist of fate We choose our own destiny A trophy or a bruise Champions never lose Champions never lose It's time to show the world What they've waited for Something like they've never seen before Whooaaa We're just getting started We're just getting started Reaching for the stars We'll raise our colors high We've come so far Whooaaa We're just getting started We're just getting started There's nothing stopping us Yeah we're just getting started Blasting right to the top Making that needle drop Do you hear that roaring crowd Tonight we won't let them down No time to play it safe We'll set the record straight This is our walk up song Everyone's gonna sing along Everyone's gonna sing along It's time to show the world What they've waited for Something like they've never seen before Whooaaa We're just getting started We're just getting started Reaching for the stars We'll raise our colors high We've come so far Whooaaa We're just getting started We're just getting started It's time to show the world What they've waited for Something like they've never seen before Whooaaa We're just getting started We're just getting started Reaching for the stars We'll raise our colors high We've come so far Whooaaa We're just getting started We're just getting started There's nothing stopping us Yeah we're just getting started youtu.be/4Z2-0Hut2gw

Sports, I'm not sure if your post was suggesting the song that you posted be a song for a new ad for Afrezza, But... IMHO, I think that when putting a song to a product for a commercial, it has to be a song that the general public knows, and knows well, (and likes) to create that hook. Not just a good verbal message. It has to be more than that. A song that keeps playing/resonating in your potential consumers head long after the actual commercial has ended.
However, effective verbal content is definitely paramount! The two combined tastefully, equals success in promoting your product or service. I will admit that my expertise is not in advertising, but I am a consumer and as a consumer, I realize what commercials stick in my head and which do not. I also think that the current AFREZZA commercial (although was/am thrilled to have finally seen one) is not as good as it could be. Hopefully Mannkind management already has a team earnestly working on the next new commercial promotion of Afrezza, and as I said in my first post, and IMHO, the song "Breathe" just seems to check all of the right boxes to be used for the music side of a successful AFREZZA commercial! Also, Casting Laura Kronan as the face of AFREZZA is also a great idea!! And the fact that she would like to do it is a gift to Mannkind!! GLTA LONGS!!

In a tweet to MC in September I complained about our current commercial and got this response:
Mike Castagna
Please send me drug ad you like. To me they are all as good as it gets bc FDA restricts what you want to say. For example I had to take pizza out of our ad bc FDA said people with diabetes shouldn’t be encouraged to eat pizza.
I didn't send him a drug ad I like because I've never seen one (I don't watch much television).

GLTA LONGS!! I agree about a high impact commercial, but I'm not sure that song is a great choice. Does Faith Hill's 'Breathe' have the legs to have an impact today? Is anyone under age 30 (35?) going to be impressed by it? FWIW, the official video for her song has a bit over 19 million views ... in today's world, that's nothing. Jax Jones song video 'Breathe' has nearly 133 million views in less than a year. The billboard at the end of Jone's video has the words 'Breathe In. Move on.' I think that is a much better tie in than Faith Hill singing about someone breathing on her. Her lyrics don't really fit Afrezza except for the two word lyric 'Just breathe'. Do they just loop that over and over and over through the commercial?

I get your point, I am just attached to the song Breathe ..I mean I love, it but it’s for very different reason, so I just can’t get my head around it as the Afrezza song. But I’m sure it would be awesome:-)

Well we can always go with ... "I'm a little teapot" I don't know what song will go with a little whistling sound when you inhale.

What is wrong with this world :-( Can’t they have a life! ? Actually I like the Afrezza commercial better than any other diabetes add I have seen. Still think Laura should be in at tennis outfit, taking a hit and explaining how to dose. Making it look like the easiest thing on earth:-)

I didn't send him a drug ad I like because I've never seen one (I don't watch much television). On one hand, I am glad that he responded to you. On the other hand, I am thinking that he should be so busy getting SOCare and Insurance fixed that he would not have enough time to respond to your tweet. He is a good man (MC), but fix the big things, do not respond to tweets unless it is from Trump asking "what can I do to help you promote your miracle medicine". IMHO.

All along I thought you all were talking about the Pink Floyd song, but it’s probably a better choice for an RLS ad (if they ever come out from behind the dark side of the moon).

In MC's defense, I tweeted him privately and somewhat misleadingly said that I had worked in TV, which is true although I was on the news side. He might have thought I knew more about TV advertising than he did, which is almost certainly not true (especially since he's had to deal with the FDA concerning the current Afrezza commercial). I suspect that the FDA would shoot down most of the ideas that people on this board have come up with.

Every Breath You Take - The Police. I like this song. Or that!! I like it too. Just something catchy that most everyone knows is my point. I see (and hear) the Trisiba commercial and now the Ozempic commercial all of the time! Both have well known, catchy tunes! Whether you like them or not, they get your attention...at least they get mine. They just need to improve on the last commercial with somthing that leaves a mark. GLTA LONGS!

Every Breath You Take - The Police. I like this song. The song’s lyrics include “I’ll be watching you” would be a perfect accompaniment to a person on a TV ad watching their glucose monitor.
