Everyone is saying the stock has tanked but I've checked the price 5 times and we're sitting in the green 🤨 After hours 1.34 −0.35 (20.71%) lol... I hope there will be a silver lining to this! (Besides being able to buy more shares at an even cheaper price...)

The summary prospectus doesn't have any numbers and looks largely like a boilerplate unless they are raising debt at the same time (the boilerplate has provisions for everything!)

Mike knows a lot more about the moving parts of MNKD than any of us. Based on his overall performance, I would still maintain more good news than bad will prevail over time. This is a trust moment. I feel the same way about Chip leading Bruin football. While this year was terrible. His past performance should show through eventually. Waiting for some more news.

Risks Related to this Offering Our management will have broad discretion in how we use the net proceeds from this offering, and we may not use these proceeds effectively or in ways with which you agree. We have not designated any portion of the net proceeds from this offering to be used for any particular purpose. Our management will have broad discretion as to the application of the net proceeds from this offering and could use them for purposes other than those contemplated at the time of this offering. Our stockholders may not agree with the manner in which our management chooses to allocate and spend the net proceeds from this offering. Moreover, our management may use the net proceeds from this offering for corporate purposes that may not increase the market price of our common stock. You will experience immediate and substantial dilution in the net tangible book value (deficit) per share of the common stock you purchase in this offering. Since we expect the public offering price per share of our common stock and accompanying warrant in this offering will be substantially higher than our historical net tangible book value (deficit) per share, you will experience immediate and substantial dilution with respect to the net tangible book value (deficit) per share of the common stock you purchase in this offering. As of September 30, 2018, our net tangible book value (deficit) was approximately $(205.4) million, or $(1.29) per share. Based on the public offering price of $ per share and our net tangible book value (deficit) as of September 30, 2018, if you purchase shares of common stock and accompanying warrants in this offering, you will suffer immediate and substantial dilution of $ per share. The exercise of outstanding stock options and warrants and the settlement of restricted stock units may result in further dilution of your investment. See “Dilution” for a more detailed discussion of the dilution you will incur if you purchase common stock in this offering. You may experience future dilution as a result of future equity offerings. In order to raise additional capital, we may in the future offer additional shares of our common stock or other securities convertible into or exchangeable for our common stock at prices that may not be the same as the public offering price per share in this offering. We may sell shares or other securities in any other offering at a price per share that is less than the public offering price per share paid by investors in this offering, and investors purchasing shares or other securities in the future could have rights superior to existing stockholders. The price per share at which we sell additional shares of our common stock, or securities convertible or exchangeable into our common stock, in future transactions may be higher or lower than the public offering price per share paid by investors in this offering. In addition, the sale of shares and warrants in this offering and any future sales of a substantial number of shares of our common stock in the public market, or the perception that such sales may occur, could adversely affect the market price of our common stock. We cannot predict the effect, if any, that sales of those shares of common stock, or the perception that those sales may occur, will have on the market price of our common stock. S-5

(Besides being able to buy more shares at an even cheaper price...) Hmm... Should I go and buy more now?? :-) In fact, I did make a *little* money from MNKD this year. Not shorting, but buying and selling (early this year). I sold a lot, and then I bought back to build my core position. I was planning to add a substantial amount at 1.70 last week. Luckily I didn't. Sometimes I feel, we are the small group of suckers that hold all of MNKD shares. For the amount of stuff we are going thru, at least we should get our money back :-(
