#2: RLS should be moving forward as the legal obstacles are overcome. Brazil, India, ROW, ... #4: Mike says he will need shareholders to loosen their belts and prepare to swallow another 100 million of authorized shares to protect against a hostile takeover, but little to no dilution is expected at this time (however, if you read the fine print, things could be different around the holidays late this year, just like last year so YMMV). #5: Cheers and Happy New Year! Dilution as a defense against a hostile takeover could be pretty entertaining. Who would be the acquirer and for what reason(s)? And, what would be the result on the stock price? What would the tender offer look like?

My prediction for CC tomorrow: 1. Mike says UTHR projects are on track*. 2. Mike says Technosphere non-UTHR projects are on track. 3. Mike says he will spend tens of millions on Afrezza promotion in 2019. *In 2019, this could be $30 million for progress with "undisclosed molecule" + $25 million milestone with TreT + $40 million if another PAH molecule. These possible moneys have all been previously mentioned by Mike. I don't want a rehash. I want to hear new developments. However, as the Stones say, "you can't always get what you want."

I know why current management would be against a takeover, but at this point why would shareholders automatically be against a takeover? It would probably be the best thing for the success of Afrezza and might not be that bad for shareholders.

Before of course. 75 cents would then automatically force another R/S Not quite automatically...it's only if they wanted to stay listed...and they have at least six months to get the SP to close over $1 once to reset that process.

I like what Mike is doing but he has such an uphill slog ahead. It takes big money to move this and/or some magic. I hope MNKD can find one or the other. Maybe Friday will show us a rabbit.

I think there is a greatest hits replay - UTHR, increasing Afrezza sales, Brazil and India (maybe a third). And then he will say that they had no choice but to do the raise now because market conditions mean they may not be able to do it later if the April warrants are not exercised. If the warrants are exercised the money will be used for marketing Afrezza.
I do think he asks for more shares, although doing that now might be impolitic, so that may be pushed out another couple of months.

I can't help feeling that somewhere out there is a chameleon saying, "I told you this would happen."

I can't help feeling that somewhere out there is a chameleon saying, "I told you this would happen." Yes, he was very much against authorizing that amount of shares and was pretty much ostracized on the board. Echoes of "trust the management team", "they won't use them all up that quickly", "Mike wouldn't screw us over"...

Sorry but I'm not waking up at 4 a.m. Hawaii time to hear this CC. When I wake up and the share price is sky high ... then I'll rush to hear the CC. Other than that, I'm drinking wine now with no inclination to wake up early.

A little windy, but anything is better than Minnesota this time of year.
