So $25 pps by year end? But, that's mytakeonit Well.. lets take this as a serious question... $25/share represents a total company value of about 5 billion$. I would say a company which earns about 100mil$ per year has such a value. So far we are not earning anything, so this is a just dream. I believe the company value will shoot in this region as soon as Mannkind provides solid green numbers, but not before. And I dont think we will be green in 2019, but maybe within the next two years.

The value of the company has nothing to do with the PPS beware of the MOASS!

The value of the company has nothing to do with the PPS beware of the MOASS! It's about market cap. Now where were we?

Morfu, I don't disagree with your "show me the earnings" stand on PPS and therefore total market cap. That has never really been a requirement for bio pharma stocks. One only needs to look around to find companies with incredible market caps, no earnings, a track record of being capable of generating revenue and a lot of future promise (e.g. UTHR PE ratio = 0, Market Cap = 3.5 billion or 2X revenue). Add to that the fact that in 2007 MNKD had a market cap of close to 20 billion and zero revenue. In 2015 its market cap was close to 10 billion based on nothing but potential and a trickle of revenue. Given the right partners and compounds with significant TAM potential, it is conceivable that we could see a 2+ billion market cap in 2 - 3 years without significant earnings and even a return to $5 billion in five years based on revenue and potential. But MNKD does need to demonstrate it can execute on potential by delivering revenue on the products in its portfolio. Heck, the market is already somewhat rewarding MNKD for potential given our market cap to revenue ratio is roughly 4.66 times (double UTHR's).

It's hard to determine what impact an announcement from them might bring. Maybe not an investment strategy, but interesting none the less.

Okay Okay ... things changed at MNKD about that time so things didn't happen as predicted. So after we hit that $2 barrier ... we'll just have to zoom to $25 ... just for you.
But, that's mytakeonit
