no clue. Why would you believe another NDC number would be used for Eagle? I'm not necessarily. Aged suggested that Eagle offered a 180 pack 'mix'. I noted that the website says nothing about a mix being on offer. It just says "Each pricing option is available in the following dosage: 4 Units, 8 Units, 12 Units". It may be that the 180 option is 180 cartridges all the same type. Geez, sort of sorry I even commented on this. Still, it would be nice if Eagle would clarify on its site what is being offered. Here is what is being offered $120 for a single 90 count box of 4, 8 or 12 Unit Afrezza Cartridges or $199 for any 180 count Afrezza combination box of 4, 8, and/or 12 Units.
For the first 1,000 registrants under this initial Direct Purchase Program Offer, prices are guaranteed for 12 months from time of first fill.

Very good, I thank you.

The bottom line is for $120 I can buy a box of "larges" the 12u. Then I can break it open and divide into three cartridges and have 360 "smalls" 4u. Now thats not bad. I course I would need to know how easy it is to do. Wait, there is a youtube or two on this www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kwts_aHz4EQ

SKUs are ways for companies to identify specific products. Companies use them to make sure the product is priced correctly in a computer system as well as using them for inventory control.

All this talk of custom cartridges makes me think there’d be a market for a bulk container of TI that would attach to a metering device that would load a user defined amount into an empty cartridge. Probably not a large demand but how cool would that be.

Probably not a large demand but how cool would that be. I suggested this long ago when the company said they had an inventory management problem and there was talk of a 2U cartridge. I would equate this to a refillable Kcup with your your bulk coffee or a vial of insulin and a syringe.

Probably not a large demand but how cool would that be. It would comfortably outsell the current cartridges. The idea that you don't have to be accurate with your insulin dose is a huge barrier because you have been told the exact opposite for years and it becomes ingrained. Having a metered system would fix that issue. What you would want is a reservoir of powder in the inhaler that you could dial a dose into and it drops that dose into the chamber for you to inhale.

So we are back to the size of a BONG again. Then we will have FDA problems popping up. Overdosing problems. etc, etc, etc

I've been thinking that a larger dose at the beginning of the meal might reduce the need for so many follow-up doses. I'm pretty sure newly diagnosed T-2's would prefer it to the multiple dose scenarios I hear so much about. Always liked the KISS method.

I'm not sure taking a larger dose of the fast-acting Afrezza is better than taking 2 boluses spaced by some time. Insulin has a very short 1/2 life in the blood stream (4-6 min) before proteolytic enzymes start breaking it down. If glucose continues to enter the blood stream from a slowly digested meal, the entire large bolus of insulin could be gone before all the glucose is taken up by the cells. But two smaller doses might better cover the glucose load.

Where it really came into play and stood out like a champion were the days of having cocktails, I have to get better at connect 4, those cocktail waitresses really kicked my butt and if I didn't carry the best in class insulin with me at all times my BS would have kicked my butt as well 🤣😉👍

This protocol is very close to finalization and we're aiming for a July/August start with the possible Q4 completion, date available soon after. was talked about. Long long time ago.
