Not that surprising. I cannot see much buying in any part of the microcaps. The Russell 2000 is down 9.4% today, and MNKD is down 8.6% so it is actually out-performing the market!

I just bought a relatively small block of shares and my conclusion is that nobody of any size is selling right now. It took several lots of 100 share transactions for the order to be filled. I have not seen that happen on an order of small magnitude before. The fact that nobody was selling a block larger than 100 shares intrigued me.

So what you're saying is the stock is being manipulated by computers?

I think he's saying it's likely small time retail traders only. When there are repeated small trades all at the same price, that's not any form of manipulation. To me it also would seem to indicate the market makers are stepping back from the market. Is interesting, though.

Exactly what I thinking. It seems people are not letting go of big blocks of MNKD at one time. Hence the thought that market makers, institutions and large holders, like many on this board, are holding steady and those that are selling are selling small blocks. Every one of my partial order fills today was 100 shares. It just struck me that on a day where margin calls were probably pretty plentiful, that I could not purchase more than 100 share in a single block.

P.S. I would appreciate the education on how someone can manipulate a stock and make money on transactions of 100 shares at a time on a company with a float of nearly 200mm shares.

And for me I loaded heavy at .93 Do I see a .75 coming Monday? Lets Go!
