www.instagram.com/stories/thaisendocrino/Here is a video from one of the attendees talking about inhaled insulin. Unfortunately it's in Portuguese and you need to have an Instagram account to view her video. These videos normally expire in 24 hours of posting Can someone watch the video and translate for us?

She said she was going to post how to use it and that it is inhale-able human insulin, Brazilian Portuguese. My wife is from Portugal, so Brazilian Portuguese sounds a bit different.

I have lost hope in our marketing and sales of afrezza in the U.S. Mike C. says, tipping point for sales may be when pediatrics approved. That is probably 2 years away.
In the mean time, I think we should actually put some resources together with biomm and really try and sell a bunch of scripts and have some success stories there. I dont think we have to worry about fda, insurance and label there [please let me know if I'm wrong]. And maybe we can create some momentum going into pediatrics launch. I dont think Biomm can do it on their own though.
I realize were not going to be profitable in Brazil but maybe we can gain some attention if we can have a successful launch there.

Mike should put a lot of effort toward supporting BIOMM's launch. Successful manufactures always throw a high level of support to a valued distributor to make sure they are successful too. A bad launch in Brazil would give shorts more ammunition and Mannkind can't afford that. Success in Brazil would help promote Afrezza in other countries and provide Kendall with more ammunition to work on insurance and Black Box removal in US. Brazil seems excited about Afrezza. Mike can't afford to blow this opportunity even if Brazil may not add a lot of scrip revenue it will add much needed production to a manufacturing facility that will lower the overall cost per unit. A successful launch will also draw attention away from the other disctractions we are currently facing. Go Big or Stay at Home.

Interesting response NY. You always like to attack my posts. There are many ways companies support their distributors without DTC. The support I was talking about is feet on the ground helping out with training, providing materials for endos and educators. Attending conferences and other promotions like they do with JDRF. Ther are a multitude of ways Mike can help without advertising. We hardly do it here.

I don't disagree with you on this issue - was just pointing out that prescription drug advertising isn't allowed in Brazil.
