tarheelblue004 ...You’re welcome:-)
I know we’ve all had plenty of reasons to be disgruntled about any number of things, for me it was the Christmas massacre. Working together as in having the same goals, shaking off the chips on our shoulders and moving forward. We all want the same thing, there is no agenda or competition. Let’s sell Afrezza! I believe we need a sense of urgency. Getting together on some of those studies like was mentioned in another thread could be great. I don’t know, I don’t have those answers but I do know if a friend goes to the doctor and for whatever reason he doesn’t want to write a script you can now call Vdex. That’s a win-win let’s utilize it.

Here are the numbers just for the New Mexico clinic, which is much smaller than Kentucky. So 800 users say 3 month prescriptions hence 4 per year....800*4/52 = 61.5 prescriptions per week, does that sound right?( So 61.5/802*100 = ~7.7% of the weekly scripts)
And at 20 per week at .8 retention, 20*52*.8*4/52 = 64 more users this time next year if all remains the same. For a total of 125.4 prescriptions per week.

Keep up the great work Vdex! Wish we had one in Minneapolis/St. Paul - it would definitely benefit the community here.

Not to be forgotten, Kentucky clinic is larger than New Mexico's. How can MC and co ignore these guys? Has MC acquiesced in his decision to sell to Vdex at wholesale? Or is he still trying to fit a square peg into a round hole?

VDEX is legit, as some folks have been saying for a while now. :-)). I think the shorts hoped we weren’t legit. Nobody would hire me if they weren’t legit. I need transparency to put my heart and soul into something. Love Bill or hate him he tells it like it is, and he has the biggest heart for the patients. He doesn’t read social media at all so sometimes I text him a post now and then. I showed him sugar’s post and he said, “ Love that...We just keep doing the right thing and all will work out. I trust that.”

Or is he still trying to fit a square peg into a round hole? Well, all I see here is a promise by Bill McCullough that his Vdex clininc in New Mexico would train 800 permanent Afrezza users in 2020. No real numbers, he could have used exactly the same time to show how many permanent Afrezza users Vdex generated in the first 10 months of 2019. But let´s see if he can keep his promise, in his words this was a low estimate. There is also the fact that a new clinic should have higher "recruiting" numbers in the beginning. It seems, that for now I can keep my guestimate that Vdex generates about 15% of the adult Afrezza sales in the USA, nothing to snear on, but by far not enough to demand special treatment. Vdex needs Mannkind a lot more than the other way around.

Absolutely👍🏻... they manufacture a drug that gives us the ability to get people to non-diabetic numbers, so that they have a sense of freedom from diabetes. Priceless

Are others who sell less getting wholesale prices? If so, they DO recieve special treatment. If 15% is coming from 6 clinics (pretty impressive)we have much to look forward in the coming months and this next year.

This is a number I gave when I was questioned by that falcon, but the moderator deleted my posts when his posts started violating forum rules .. mine certainly did not..
To my knowledge, no one else made an estimate about the Vdex contribution to the Afrezza sales and no one knows! Well Vdex might, but they certainly are better promising great success than showing what they got!
I keep pointing out, that if their retention rate is indeed as high as they claim, their absolute sales numbers cannot be too high, since the overall retention rate is quite low. (otherwise the math does not add up)

I believe that the only entities that are currently selling Afrezza directly to patients are pharmacies. As of now, Vdex is just writing prescriptions that patients get filled by drug stores or mail order pharmacies.
