I for one believe that VDEX should publish its prescription numbers and retention rate numbers. Their lack of transparency understandably causes people to question whether their efforts have been successful or whether they are trying to hide something. From what I read on this thread, I believe Le Anne and the team are working hard and doing a great job. If the % of Afrezza sales were only 15%, as Morfu suggests, I would regard that as great news. VDEX is growing and their contribution to sales is growing, so 15% would be a great start.VDEX efforts seem especially important now since it seems that MNKD strategy is to lay low, cut costs and ride out the low Afrezza scripts until TrepT royalties kick in. If I was advising VDEX I would tell them not to publish that data. There is only downside to VDEX in disclosing this. VDEX will be sharing the information with investors because they need to know, but for people on this board? No. Providing the data would help other companies decide if this was an area they wanted to compete in. Why would you do that? What our hippie friend says ^^^^^. Companies that are publicly traded have an obligation to disclose such information, but private companies do not. The lack of transparency to the competition has value and it is the price companies pay for lack of access to the public financial markets. Fewer and fewer companies are choosing to be public and there is good reason for that.

Well, just to be precise, I was trying to say that I don´t think it can be more than about 15% (if their claimed high retention rate is true) and I keep pointing to the apparent lack of visible growth through VDex (which MUST show in the overall retention rate, but does not so far),
which seems to trigger some kind of bite reflex here, so I thank you for your summary, however add this is an optimistic view of what I was trying to write.
Of course VDex can choose not to disclose their data, but that there seems an obvious mismatch between their claimed importance and benefit for Mannkind and real overall retention rate. And it was not me who first pointed that out. McColough could have been very wrong with his optimistic estimate in 2019.

Look as of this moment it’s not gonna happen, not here. Good try. You probably ruined it for everyone.
You guys don’t need any numbers, Mike C knows how many scripts we are producing. There’s no way to hide anything. Good scripts today:-)

Could you possibly clarify what company you work for and where they’re out of ...after all it’s pretty obvious to everybody what you’re up to.

I hope so, I am trying to be as clear as I can:
Avoid all personal attacks and post facts about VDex relevant to Mannkind. I admit I failed in the past sometimes facing some very strange behavior here, but I will do better, that is what you do too, right? (With posts like that.. its not like you are provoking the moderator to delete critical messages you do not like and fail to counter with facts.. oh must save my last one, you are getting close again)

I have no idea what you’re talking about, as far as I’m concerned they can close the whole thread. It is not my job to post here. I do not post here for Vdex. I post here for the shareholders that have been my friends for years. My job is to post on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc. Have a great day.

What is the "real overall retention rate" and what's your source?

What is the "real overall retention rate" and what's your source? I think Liane´s table is a good start, divide the Rx by Tx.

morfu I don’t understand your obsession with wanting to know VDex numbers. Will you explain it to me?
I would guess everybody in this forum is very curious about any aspect related to how Afrezza is selling in the US.
It seems worthwhile to discuss that VDex so far mostly posted wild claims and demands, McColough wants to be in Mannkinds BoD, preferred buying prices and tries to influence the way Mannkind does its business. Especially the last thing must be seen critical, what proven facts does VDex really bring to the table? As Agedhippie pointed out, they choose not to share their numbers and mathematics say, so far they seem very small fry, but loud!
I happen to think that Mannkind Afrezza trend over the last couple of years is good and real and as long as people like McColough and his company do NOT interfere too much, we will succeed! This is the place to raise this opinion about VDex and if needed having a factual discussion about it.
I believe a photo of a park bench and the size of sportsrancho´s twitter account, my financial background, diverse insults and so on are not only completely irrelevant and a violation of forum rules, but posted strategically to avoid a factual discussions, just look at what facts that group brought up here over the last days and pages beside wishful thinking.

Will you highlight the answer for me? I don’t see it in there.

Well, I am not a competitor or anything else nefarious as suggested. I am simply a long term shareholder who is interested in knowing how well VDEX is doing -- with real numbers. Some time within the past year or thereabout someone posted a link to an online video of Bill in which he made projections about retention and script numbers. Seems to me if you’re willing to go public making projections in an online video as to scripts and retention, you should follow up with the numbers showing that you met your projections. Otherwise, don’t publish the projections in the first place.

I feel that we should leave VDEX alone. It is their business and it sounds like they are doing really great. They are opening many clinics across the country and patients are happy. If Bill wants to post something, that is entirely up to him.
But, that's mytakeonit
