Agree Slugworth. A 5% stake announcement by UTHR could turn MNKD's world right side up immediately. No one knows what UTHR might be thinking but considering Martine's latest positive comments about the Mannkind collaboration at the 3Q report, it could happen in a heartbeat. No prediction here. Just agreeing it could happen and would not be that surprising.

Would much rather see UTHR take 5% than 5% going to an activist investor with no clear agenda....

Agree Slugworth. A 5% stake announcement by UTHR could turn MNKD's world right side up immediately. I'm no expert on UTHR's business practices. Does it have any history of taking 'stakes' in companies it works with? Or does it generally just license and do milestone agreements?

I can't see any enthusiastic Sportsrancho's comments... Maybe is too early...

I prefer that MNKD be a stand alone company and not have to follow the rules of others. It gets very cumbersome when there are too many chiefs. I also believe that UTHR is of this thinking also. But, that's mytakeonit Yes - too many cooks spoils the soup. But a big player with a 5% stake adds spice to the PPS. IMO

Beats the F out of me - but it would make sense to protect their investment in technosphere molecule investment. But - what do I know - I'm stuck in the rinse and spin cycle like all mnkd longs

Well, Martine did make that potential slip a bit ago when she talked about timing the "acquisition" for the end of the year...

End of year? You mean we only get $10 slugworth008 - I'll allow you a one time offer for advice for only $10 ... you can keep the other $10 for your ice cream soda. The beginning of Bob Marley's song reminded me of the first time I saw sports' pic. But, that's mytakeonit

Well, Martine did make that potential slip a bit ago when she talked about timing the "acquisition" for the end of the year... Someone made a comment on here about how Martine has dealt with short attacks with Sirius..seemed like Sirius was #1 shorted stock for years...I often wondered, with United really coming out of nowhere a few years back, if our own short attack, was this one of the factors that brought Martine and Mike together from the get go. The constant FUD is exhausting and frustrating for us, but I’d be willing to bet it is taken more personal by the leaders of those companies. One time, Mike.

I'd take 5% UTHR than 20% activist anytime. The positive synergy between the two would be a miracle.
I can only pray and hope.
