I think that perhaps today’s price increase was in part due to the Coronavirus spreading to the US. Novavax skyrocketed today for that reason. TechnoVax is privately held so the closest way of investing in that is through MannKind. Technosphere is an FDA approved delivery system. Perhaps this is another pipeline that MannKind should reinvestigate and put on their list. It wouldn’t surprise me if CDC funding could be thrown at this. Something to think about.
Diabetes Treatment PAH Treatment Cystic Fibrosis Treatment Virus Treatment Etc. Etc.

I used to talk about and keep up with TechnoVax, but I just don’t ever see it happening anytime soon without major $ in the picture. TechnoVax has no $ and has largely depended on NIH funding in the past.
Would still love to see the inhaled RSV and Flu vaccines happen, but I’m not holding my breath. Maybe one day when we have so much $ we can fund it ourselves...
Would also still love to see inhaled oxytocin that MannKind and Mintaka were once trying to make happen.

Right. The good ol' days. I remember posting those MannKind patents for chemical warfare inhalants, as well as encouraging management to seek defense department funding.

What comes around goes around technosphere may have a huge future in vaccines. A cold chain independent dry powder inhalant could be be our future yet. The technology is here the application is ready 2+2=4 Lets Go!

Right. The good ol' days. I remember posting those MannKind patents for chemical warfare inhalants, as well as encouraging management to seek defense department funding. I think those can still be a possibility especially if they can formulate them like Afrezza where it does not really need refrigeration (yes, we still need to get a study started on this to prove that it does even though we've see real life evidence of it).

I sure hope that this new coronavirus is not going to get out of control. Scary stuff. However, if it or another virus does begin to get more dangerous, world governments will look at any company that could quickly produce antivirus products. MannKind has a huge facility that is mostly unused at this point. Also, it appears that TechnoVax is somewhat far along in preliminary studies. In a world emergency, FDA rules would be discarded and solutions would be quickly tested and launched into the field. MannKind would be one of those companies asked to help in my opinion. We will see.

We will see. Mannkind's facility has nothing to do with producing inactivated, attenuated, subunit or conjugate vaccine material, merely a rather universal way of making molecules into an inhalable powder form. In an emergency I highly doubt going to the extra step of creating an inhalable version of a newly created vaccine would be high priority... and would submit Ebola as case in point. I don't think MNKD has been contacted to make any (of the at least half dozen) ebola vaccines into an inhalable version.

Technovax and indeed Mannkind...there is $8 billion on the table to develop a solution...We want to know where we are at on this topic and surely the world wants to see the U.S. leading the way. That said, put the name on the map time!
