Waht? “The agreement implies that AMSL has the expertise to lead a submission in Australia.“. What the heck are you saying? MNKD should not supervise an agreement? Don't think that is a valid interpretation of what I said. You seem to be accusing me of not doing my job when I was overseeing our international contracts But perhaps here's another perspective. If Tony Hooper is somehow going to be a crucial aspect of executing that agreement... then something obviously went wrong, as they should not have selected a partner and structured the responsibilities the way they did if a high level person with specific Australian expertise is now seen as crucial in the submission process. I really doubt Tony Hooper will be overseeing it. That would be very odd. With or without Tony I'm sure they had all the bases covered since this deal has been in place for quite some time. Hopefully they are already nearing point of submittal. I'm glad we can agree to disagree on this. While it may not be the reason to "solely" bring Hoop aboard just because of the expansion into Australia, his expertise and knowledge with the regulatory processes down-under are a valuable asset and a strength for MNKD. Besides, maybe they ran into a hurdle and some bumps with ASML. Nobody here has that knowledge.

It would, indeed, be unusual for a Director to get directly involved with international regulatory agencies. That would be management's responsibility. However, since one of a Director's primary roles is the oversight of management, Tony certainly could and should share any of his relevant expertise with the CEO/Officers. That would not be unusual at all for a board director.

Its a little unusual for a director to come on board with 100,000 shares in his pocket. I would believe hes got a vested interest in what goes down under.

I saw the filing that he had them when he took the position as director he declared them. I did not see a filing by MNKD that they gave them to him. Maybe in the next Q/K or whatever but it does appear he came with them to me. FYI I have no formal business education to be sure of any of this.

Those who did the research and background could only find that he owned shares, but no information regarding when and how. I know I posted some time within the last few weeks that IMO he as required by SEC Rules to declare ownership within a specified period of time commensurate with the official "date of appointment" to the position.

Purcahsed or granted, he has a vested interest in seeing their value grow. If purchased, obvously more so.

Hopefully he bumps it up to 2 or 3 million shares at this low price. That would show a real commitment for a man of his vast wealth. Yes and MC as well. Why not?

MC is not retired. I assume he has a young family, and a mortgage and 1 house in Thousand Oaks. Mr. Hooper should be considerably more comfortable with a significantly larger disposable income. And yeah, that would be awesome if Mr. Hooper felt so confident he spent 10x to 30x more on his investment in MNKD. Seriously. But I’m not holding my breath.
