Found it. Discussed in the Q3 2019 call SA always has grammatical errors so I corrected a couple things, particularly, "exploration dating" changed to "expiration dating." • "Another part that's been important is around short-dated product and inventory management. On our side is that we expect approval on expiration dating, which will allow us probably another 4 to 5 months of dating on our inventory by the time it gets to the wholesale channel. Fortunately, with our volumes where they are today, and our manufacturing improvements we've made, we don't expect to have any inventory write-downs as we continue to go forward." www.google.com/amp/s/seekingalpha.com/amp/article/4303332-mannkind-corporation-mnkd-ceo-michael-castagna-on-q3-2019-results-earnings-call-transcript

A thread for personal experiences/ family/ close friends etc. I'll put out the first one. I've been on Afrezza for 6 months and at the last Endo appointment I was asked to do another Spirometry test. Last time it, was at the Endo's office; so convenient. Since that time, the doctor tells me that legislation has been passed to help eliminate $ for referral to Pharamaceutical companies to prescribing physicians. I was given an order requisition to have one taken by a third party, in this case a hospital. After three frustrating phone calls to schedule I got a call back to get my test. My endo listened to my airflow and stated it sounded very clear, but on the order he writes "patient with cough using Afrezza inhaled insulin. And adds "ICD10=r05". I didn't read this until I got home. Made me kind of angry that he wrote this, in all probability to cover his liability. I have had a botched Apnea surgery (large whole in septum) which creates a constant drain which is the reason for the cough. I do not cough when I take the Afrezza. My endo is a good guy and really trying to make it work for me BUT the ENT who I saw today said infatically that the cough was a result of nasel drain. Since I can exhale enough breath to fill a balloon and am not too concerned about it as the ENT said he'd gladly give explaination to the Endo if I happen to run into a problem. One more hurdle. So here is one more issue that may have an affect on retention of patients using Afrezza. Converter: professional.diabetes.org/diapro/glucose_calc My 118 mg/dl average 30 day Average = 5.7 down from 8.2 before Afrezza. It's all about learning curve in getting the dosage right. I have learned to navigate for myself. Vdex helps the patient navigate or navigates for them. I like being in charge of testing and actually look forward to see my #'s before bed and when I wake up. Inhaling 10 minutes after starting a meal is what Alfred Mann suggested. This has made a difference; as well as bumping with another dose mid meal if unclear. I use between 3 & 5 test strips daily to know how my metabolism is digesting food with the use of Afrezza. It's amazing. It's very good to have personal validation to support my incentive to invest in MNKD Turns out I have a chronic liver disease. Memory lost big time. I was prescribed Xifaxan having proved positive for Sibo = Diagnosis: Overt Hepatic Encephalopathy which resulted in have Toxic blood which created Ammonia in my blood being delivered to my brain = memory loss and confusion. Like Alzheimers brain fog getting more extreme each day. By taking the Xifaxan and Afrezza I have lost 25 lbs in about 2 months. 186 lbs this morning. Because of blood toxicity; I stopped taking prescribed drugs: Diazepam, Dexilant, Mucinex D 2x daily. As well as drinking very little to no Alcohol and cutting down on all oil. Minor to no side affects from stopping taking these drugs. It's great to have an idea what's going on and having a name for my disease along with a road map on how to deal with it. The chronic liver disease is most likely irreversible. Medicare denied my ultra sound test which would Not have diagnosed this. My memory and cognitive capability returning fairly quickly with killing of intestinal bacteria and in additon the correction of my glucose with Afrezza, because my liver couldn't do it. If I hadn't been turned down for the Ultra Sound. The Doctor wouldn't have given me the Sibo test. I was feeling like I wasn't winning the fight. Had this gone on longer before the correction; I'd probably would be in a Hospital today exposed to the corona virus. Ignorance is not bliss. I got very lucky with my timing www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/type-2-diabetes/in-depth/diabetes-and-alzheimers/art-20046987Before starting taking Afrezza my A1c was 8.2 90 day 130 mg/dL 2.4 readings a day 217 readings 89% in range 2% low / 9% high. Converted to A1c 6.2 30 day 118 mg/dL 2.8 readings a day 83 readings 92% in range 4% low / 4% high. Converted to A1c 5.7 14 day 114 mg/dL 3 readings a day 42 readings 96% in range 2% low / 2% high. Converted to A1c 5.6 7 day 111 mg/dL 3 readings a day 21 readings 100% in range. Converted to A1c 5.5 (3/22/20) this morning AFREZZA is a miraculous life saving drug. Eventually the world will know it.

So on Tues. the 17th of Mar. I contracted Covid-19, I know this because of a friend of mine who I day trade with. We were trading at his house that Tues. and he tested positive and ended up in the hospital for 6 days. I was tested on Mon. 23rd of Mar. and it was confirmed with test result phone call I rec'd on Sat. the 28th of Mar. I was in quarantine through today. I have been fever free for 3 full days with no other symptoms. I was emailed a letter today from the Southern Nevada Health District stating I do not have to remain in isolation/quarantine. I went through a rough patch for about 2 weeks, fevers every day, dry coughing, acute myalgia, chills. Fortunately, I had my younger son (pharmacist) and wife (ICU RN) home with me and my older son (physician) chatting via our group text. He has been and continues on daily think groups and conferences through out this ordeal. He had my son and wife looking in the medicine cabinets for chloroquine that he had before going to on a trip to Belize a couple of years ago...that was almost 4 weeks ago so he was on it. Never did find it though lol. I took a Z-pack, lots of vitamin C, and some Saint John's Wort. Not sure what helped me come through this as a 60yr. old T2 but all I know is how grateful I am that I was able to avoid going to the hospital and so fortunate to have an awesome family and great friends...my pizza guy went to the restaurant depot here in town and helped us get eggs, ground beef, and bottled water along with dropping off two dozen bagels . I did receive my Afrezza refill from Optum/UHC shipped to my door via FedEx so that was a very welcomed surprise. I plan on donating my plasma this week so hopefully my antibodies will be able to help others who are struggling with this little bugger. Just thought I would share, hope everyone else manages to stay out of harms way.

OMG! ...and what a family! It's almost like you have your own clinic at home. Thank God you pulled through this.

Joey.... Thank God you’re OK! You always seem to go through things first, before everyone else, and come out stronger and ahead of everybody:-) I hope you’ll get back to having a blast day trading!

Thank you all very much, MN, it's a blessing and a curse (not really just they stayed on top of me like having to do my breathing exercises using a hand held spirometer doing 10 big inhales every couple of hours, lol). brentie, special shout out for CYDY, picked up some of that after your posts and doing some due diligence. Been in and out of INO, currently holding 12600 sh., sold some NVAX today but still holding 4800 shares, been trading my KL shares almost daily, still holding 200 contracts long. Made some nice swing trades on the SPY's, peppy had nailed that pretty well with her kerplop....few other positions, ironically the day trading helped me not lose my mind while in quarantine ....the fact that I received my Afrezza from Optum is giving me hope that we won't remain under $1 but we shall see...again thanks for the kind thoughts and words.
