wgreystone said that he sold half his MNKD holdings, but it was around the same as longliner's 145,000 shares. But now his TSLA holdings is worth 10X his MNKD holdings. Hmmm ... For the benefit of doubt ... I'll say that wgreystone has 75,000 shares of MNKD now worth $1.43. And today's TSLA price is $917.42. 75,000 x $1.43 = $107,250 If we divide ... $107,250/$917.42 = 117 shares of TSLA Well that is today's math lesson. Tomorrow we will learn how to turn $107,250 into $1,072,500 in 2 months. But, that's mytakeonit Well, I said I had similar holdings on TSLA and MNKD, but that was when TSLA at much much lower price. Just want to show how bad MNKD performed during the time period. If I didn't hold TSLA shares, my investment performance during the last few years would be truly miserable. BTW, along the way, I already shifted some MNKD to TSLA and other stocks for tax loss purpose, so your assumption of my current MNKD shares are also not correct.

But, that's mytakeonit I still hope MNKD can go up 10x, no matter who is CEO. I will be happy to enjoy 5x return on my half position, while you guys enjoy 10x return. cheers!

BTW, there are two reasons why I am selling half of my MNKD holdings: 1) I don't believe SP will go anywhere in the next few years if MC stays at CEO. Maybe we can find out next week as mytakeonit suggested (hope you are right). 2) I found another stock that I have very high conviction that it will generate significant return over the next few years. Want to try my luck there. Not sure if it's proper to share the name here. If anyone is interested to do DD, maybe you can message me.

Nah! Do you speak for Bill/VDex now too? When do we lock this thread anyway? We will be clear off the page with no votes if we leave it open much longer!

Just want to share with long-term MNKD holders like me another option to recoup the loss while waiting for MNKD turn-around. I am still accumulating the shares. So pls don't chase up the SP.

Based on this preliminary poll to date, it appears there's significantly greater optimism with the current management and direction of the company than many posts suggest. Those choosing to sell, walkaway, change, etc. are clearly in the minority. I suspect this could have something to do with frustrated traders as opposed to longer-term investors which would make sense but there's no way of knowing. There's also no doubt, some long-term investors equally frustrated. No fear. All can turn quickly...in either direction. The beauty of biotechs GL I don’t think it’s trading or investing akemp, because I’ve always done both here. I/we, (my wife), hold a care in a ROTH, taxes paid, and I have a separate brokerage account that was 1/5th of my core that I traded. Thanks to a few lucky breaks and taking advantage of the October p&d, I have almost the same amount of shares in my core, (-5k), and a decent average, ($3.50 something). My point here is this, if that 1/5th would’ve been part of my core instead of trading it, I’d be in much worse shape. I feel fortunate to have survived the split as well as I did. A lot of luck, and belief in the product. I never was emotionally attached to the Company because I always believed it would be sold, but I am emotionally invested in the product and the technology. My advice to the guy that’s going to sell half if something doesn’t happen, is sell half now, and if your wish/demand isn’t honored, sell the other half, if they comply, buy back. If all HFM’s candidates are added to be voted on, at that point the Company has zero control over the outcome, it’s the investors that will be voting. I guarantee if Mr Holdem is an option, he will definitely get my vote, but I’m far from anti Mannkind or Mike Castanga. Am I happy with this investment, not really, but I figure any new Company is going to take 5 years at least to see sustained success, we got Afrezza back, and evolved from an R&D Company, to a full blown Pharma in January 2016. R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Distribution, Sales, Education. Its a big change, 5 or 6 years isn’t out of touch imo. whatever you decide, I hope it works well for you. ✌🏻😎

I’m sorry but I just think that’s crazy ..why should that have anything to do with your decision, you either like the current management or you don’t. Now Bill has told me that he thinks that it’s a fair question, he’s just not ready to answer it. ( For business reasons.) But my personal opinion is is that you should separate the two.. and then look at the HfM candidates individually. You might decide on voting for one HfM nominee and for others on the Mannkind board. I mean what does mnholdem have to do with Vdex’s numbers? Nothing Maybe, if, (for business reasons) Bill is unable to release any substantive numbers regarding VDex, he should refrain from commenting regarding MC / Mannkind until he is? You know, that statement holds a lot of water imo, if you don’t want to show everybody how great you’re doing with VDEX, then don’t publicly bitch about the job Mike is doing, and yes, hush up about scripts and retention. I couldn’t tell you what’s going on at MNKD, but I can say this. This HFM movement would seem a lot more wholesome if it were handled differently by Bill, and that’s not being anti Bill, that’s a fact. its kind of like watching two high school dudes having words but never throwing a punch, and certainly a strange situation for investors because until we see everything!!! The whole 9 yards, there’s nothing to convince us, or persuade us to be part of a mutiny. It doesn’t make a difference how bad Mike is doing, If we don’t know, Bill could be doing worse. He’s not hired by the Company, he’s not giving us numbers, Mannkind is, we’re supposed to just trust him. A lot of people do, people I have great respect for, but I’m not there yet. I hate having to choose a side, I just want what’s best for the Company and Investors. It’ll make for a good scene in the movie though. ✌🏻😎

This is likely the reason for the pop in the share price today. It's a relief rally.
